Speaking of Applecat, where's the guy at that it was named after? He used to be a regular in this thread and scooped up a ton of obscene loot from farming. I'm pretty sure he uncovered the majority of the secrets in the first 3 chapters.
Having a lot of fun with the update Keep'em coming! A few suggestions to the dev: 1) Can you please move the place where it shows the "status effects" affecting the enemy? For example, if I use a bait potion on the enemy, it creates a small heart showing that it is in effect, but it's placed in the top right corner RIGHT underneath the "Leave the battle" arrow. Maybe move the icons down a bit and possibly add a number next to them showing how many turns the effect will continue for? 2) Given the grinding nature of the game (at least for some parts), I like to listen to my own audio, but unfortunately any time I do ANY action, it turns my own audio off. Can you please provide support for this? 3) Can you please reduce the geometric increase of the respec price? It's pretty high to start, and with it doubling each time, it gets pretty ridiculous. I enjoy playing around with different builds, and I personally think that it's something that should be encouraged. 4) When you put points into different attributes, can you please remove the confirmation? I doubt many people would actually need it, and it's quite annoying when you're putting 20 or so points. Thanks for your hard work!
On the topic of suggestions, I would still like to be able to SORT my items. It is a little frustrating trying to find which weapons have the highest damage AND have a chance to drop a chest. So a sort function would be much appreciated.

For the Atma weapon should I unequip everyone except for the knives so they have a better chance of killing him? Because I got him all the way down and the gunner killed him does it have to be a knife only that kills him or the fighter has to hit him with a knife?
Atma weapon has to kill him with a bladed weapon (not just from sword category). Yes, unequip all fighters, and just use three bladed weapons, possibly with +weapon hit
What is atam weapon? Btw can I have 3 apple cat by doing the 128 3 times? Or AppleCat can only have 1?
Atma weapon is a secret weapon - weapon power = cherries x3 I've been trying to 'unlock' a second applecat, but it's not working so you may only be able to have one (like other purples)
Good God! I seem to be having dreadful luck with the "aint got a clue" fellow. Any tips for that one?
After you've completed Chapter 3 - go back to chapter 1 and look for the really old guy who gives tips. You need to deliver the killing blow with a bladed weapon - may take you a while though... As for Ain't Got a Clue guy - no special tactics, - just your most levelled up person (not taker or gunner, respec if you need to) - their strongest weapons - 3 x antiashield amulet Personally did it with Fighter, Atma weapon, golden knife (taking her to Lv 9), Lv 9 cherries, Lv 9 luck
Each time you fight him his health goes does and stays down.. You just to whittle him down! Once he's on low health, remove all fighters and equip only bladed weapons, and +hit for swords - as long as your killing blow is a bladed weapon you'll get the atma weapon. Good luck!
Ahh, I was confused by that "HP Decreases after each battle" because I beat him the first time (1000 HP) and then he had 5000 HP. I thought maybe that was a mistake and that instead of decreases it was suppose to say increases. I guess that means that on Hardcore, you only have 1 chance to get the Atma weapon? If so, then there should be an achievement for getting it on Hardcore mode. So killing with a bladed weapon...does that mean the weapon alone and no character can attack with it? Also, non-bladed melee weapons (like the crowbar) do not count, right? Lastly, how did someone figure this out? Is there a hint provided somewhere?
Yup - final kill has to be a bladed weapon (not crowbar). Can be fighter and blade, or just blade, but not just fighter. There was a hint about it in Tips in chapter 3..
I think it's a real shame that the new update seems to be targetted at hardcore players (some of us are still on level 18, thank you very much). A weapon that costs 100k and that needs to hit 128 times before it becomes useful? Seriously? And could you make defeating the "lovers" a little harder? An enemy with 1800 HP and no weaknesses is surely a walk in the park. Oh, and by the way, thanks for the pretty much useless amulets that only work 10% of the times!
