Do you have any details as to what the controls are going to be yet? Can you at least say if a 4-button layout will be enough or if I need to buy a 6 or 8 button iCade?
And that's why supporting physical third party controls was quite a problem in the first place : they differ from model to model. 6 buttons will be needed : LP, FP, LK, FK, Grab, Specials unlock.
I think touch Will have an advantage they won't have the bad habits of physical games ( SF habits...) Kd has Been created for touch controls not for pad
This is everything i thought it would be and more. awesome game. However, the game frequently crashes on lowest settings when i try to do two or more fights in a row, such as a tournament. I am using an ipod touch 4th gen with latest ios. could you maybe figure out what it is and patch it? my friends have the same problem. THX.
Hi Gearwolf ! Thank you for your feedback ! There seems to be a problem with the Touch 4th gen device. My best guess would be a lack of RAM, as it's an old hardware but with higher resolution than 3GS. I already optimized RAM usage & dumping a lot, on top of adding visual details tweaking, so the best I could do is to put an additional option where you can chose to downscale the resolution. I'm not sure I can do this yet with Unity, so no promise, but I'll implement such a choice in the next update if it's available.

Thank you so much guys for your feedback & support on the appstore You're awesome.
Your character only starts with one special in career mode. You need to buy the others. Most specials require 30-50 energy to perform. If you hold the "S" button (next to the d-pad) the strike buttons will change into special buttons. Tapping one of the special buttons will activate that special move. If you pause the match and bring up the move list it will give you more info about your specials and combos.
I just don't get it. As I scroll down TA's front page, I see reviews for lots of new games, as usual. But many of them are the sorts of games we've had countless times before. Puzzle games, downhill biking games etc etc etc. Now, this is all well and good, but seriously TA: - is there any reason why Kinetic Damage hasn't been reviewed yet? - is it because of the (admittedly important) E3 coverage? But that can't be it, as there are a number of other games which have been reviewed, and given significant coverage. - or are you waiting for multiplayer to be released in an upcoming update? This is a game that deserves to be reviewed and held up as a beacon of shining light for what happens when one passionate developer pours his heart and soul into something, and actually succeeds beyond anyone's wildest expectations. It is exactly the sort of game that TA should be championing, as opposed to all the me-too games that get trotted out week after week after week after week ad infinitum.
It's so frustrating. I have nothing to do with the dev (apart from following his posts over at the Unity forums for the last few years), but when such a wonderful game is released, and when the dev appears to be such a polite and cooperative person that listens to his audience... I just think he deserves better. This game has enormous depth, it innovates within the fighter niche, it controls beautifully, it has a distinct look all its own, the aural/visual feedback from strikes is tremendously satisfying (making the game a heck of a lot of fun to play), it has strategy... the list goes on. And yet KD remains largely ignored.
