Yeah as I said, it's fun when you can trap somebody, but you got on to me quickly, it's just fun to try out different things, but the most wins I got with my own strategy, just Needs to be refined, I think I stick to it for now, don't know else how to play Ha Ha.
Ha, that's been my experience as well. I can pretty reliably beat random players, but every time I challenge somebody who's high on the leader board I get TROUNCED. Which means my fears that the game was too simple and shallow were in fact unfounded. Simple rules, but there really is a lot to think about.
Yeah, yesterday I won almost every match and today I played a few top 10 players among Mr.Bez and the current number one and it's a losing streak Ha Ha.
Lovely to see more TA-people sharing my addiction! Even with such simple rules the game offers very deep gameplay and lots of different strategies! Only wish I had more time to play. Now I'm lucky if I could play one or two games per day. Pedroapan
I lost a match today without my king getting captured. I didn't realize their were other victory conditions besides capturing the opponents king tile. It wasn't mentioned in the tutorial, but I would like to know - what other hidden victory conditions are there besides the one outlined in the tutorial?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean - The two tiles next to the king need to be closed off? Or what? Because I lost with open tiles around my king.
If your opponent fills in the top and right hand row and completely walls them off (horizontal walls along the top and vertical walls down the right) then it's impossible to take their king. I don't know if the game awards an automatic victory then or not as I've never seen it, but I'd trust Roger on that one!
Just jumped into a game with mr bez after only having played two rounds against the AI on easy. Big mistake!

Ahh ok that's what happened then. Is this intentional or a design flaw? Seems a little cheap to me. Also, it would be nice if this victory condition was mentioned in the tutorial.
It is intentional as far as I know, and when accomplished you get and auto-win (or auto-lose). I'm not too fond of it either and consider it a somewhat "cheap" way to win. However, it is not too hard to counter if you notice it in time. You can also achieve victory if you do this o the offensive part of the playfield, for example, capture both tiles next to you opponents king and fortify both toward their king, but that's just rude ;-) Did someone unlock the secret theme yet by the way? It was in the beta, and I have no idea on how to unlock it. Pedroapan
It's not cheap to win that way it's part of the game. You have those three tiles where you can't put a wall on, if the developer puts one of those in the opposite corner of each king, than you can't put a wall there, problem solved.
Yes, I know it's part of the game and a valid strategy, but I still find it a very boring way to win (or lose). It's like when a soccer team only focuses on defense and doesn't try to score goals. Totally valid but not a fun game to watch or be a part of. But it is there and for a good reason I presume since the corner tiles where unfortifiable in the pre-beta-phase. But if you know about and can identify it at an early state it is possible to counter, and he possibility to win or loose that way actually adds another element to the game. Pedroapan
I won one match against Mr.Bez and lost 6 or 7 so I say goodnight and good luck to paul with his game, because I suck badly against the better players, it was a fun and exciting week, and it only happens on IOS.
TA review. http://toucharcade.com/2015/05/13/kindo-review-respect-but-not-love/ Great review, and this game requires a certain kind of gamer. But if you are that kind this is a sure 5 star game! Pedroapan
I am back in the game, it just don't let me loose, and there are more GameCenter friends now playing, it's fun to play against them because we never go head to head in other games. I am gonna try new strategy's, I don't mind to lose, I am just experimenting, is that word correct.
That is correct. it's pretty cool playing against people from all over the world. Would be kinda cool if you could message through the game. Like "Good game, Roger. I would have beat you if I wasn't working and playing at the same time." Hehe
I don't think the "time out after 96 hours" thing is working. I've got a couple of matches that I'm pretty sure I started the day the game was released, and the players stopped playing after one move, and the matches are still just sitting there waiting for them.
