Reposting this in hopes of getting some guidance/advice. Has anyone had a similar issue? I was having an awesome time climbing to 5th in the leaderboards when I started having problems. This would be a 5-star game for sure if I could only keep playing .
Hi! Could you try in Airplane mode? We've seen a similar GameCenter related issue, it's fixed and we're going to submit the update asap. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you can get back in the game soon!
The only crash I've encountered is from a match that got corrupted somehow. I won the match, but got credited with a loss (I can even see the mostly blue board in the shot that accompanies the match and says "you lost"), and when I try to watch a replay of that match, the app bombs. No other crashes. Beyond that, everything's been smooth other than some GameCenter wonkiness, where it says I have a turn waiting, but I don't.
I had something similar. It was after I beat a friend then didn't challenge them to a rematch immediately. After a while, I challenged them to another game and the turn waiting disappeared.
Thanks for the response! I tried Airplane Mode while restarting my phone and reinstalling once more, but it's still crashing every time. 5C 8.3.
I am an idiot. Why is it that when the AI takes my squares I don't get an extra turn, but then I take an AI square, it gets an extra? Edit: the tutorial makes sense, I just suck! I take a square that leads to a cutoff, the AI gets the extra move. It does that to me I don't
The only way to get an extra move is to either separate an opponents tile(s) from the king, or for the opponent to take a tile that you had just laid on your previous turn. The same goes for your opponent. If you separate your opponents tiles from the king, but in doing so, you directly take over a tile it had just laid, you will both get an extra move.
Ok, thanks for the info. We believe that we've fixed it, the new build has been uploaded to Testflight and will be submitted to the App Store as soon as we're confident that it's stable. I'll keep you posted!
The game grows on me, first I had no clue, but I am Getting there, winning more and more from medium AI, online is a different matter, I lose most of the time, but it feels great when you make a cut-off, halleluja to the cut-off.
Sorry about that! I thought you had me once or twice. An another note, I really like the ability to see a replay of any game, but wish there was a way o step through them one move at a time, or pause them, so I can work out what I did wrong.
If you "copy" a replay and paste it into your web browser, or email it to yourself and follow a link, you can step through a match. I agree that it'd be better if you could just pause and/or step through the replay in-game, but at least there's a workaround.
Thanks. That's exactly what I'm looking for in app. Thanks, but tapping the board seems to accelerate the replay for me rather than letting me move forward one step at a time when I'm ready.

We submitted the update for review just a few minutes ago, so hopefully it won't take too long until you're back climbing the ELO leaderboard! I'm glad you appreciate it. We're trying to provide everybody with the best support we can. I believe that communicating openly and in a timely manner is solving half the problem. I hate it when something's wrong and I've no idea why, what's going on and if it will ever be fixed. If you get stuck in or waiting for a subway, train, airplane for hours without any information, you'll quickly realize you can't do that to people. After all you've paid for the game, you've been helpful to others on the thread, so we can't just let you down!
Do you have more info? Where does it say to try later? Have you tried other Game Center games? Do they work? I've not seen that before, please send me an email directly with screenshots if possible or reply here, fine too Thank you! Hope you can get back in the game soon!
