I'll be back with feedback =) I spent about an hour playing this. I like the 8-bit graphic style and variety of players and stadiums to choose from. The controls take a few minutes to get used to, but they work well once you get the hang of them. There are 4 different game modes, each with its own leaderboard. I started out in the amateur game mode, and honestly, it was too easy. There are no bonus points for trick variety which made it a little tedious as well. I ended up with 23,000 + pts. and was almost relieved when it was over. I did see a combo system for different characters, however. It would be nice if repeated tricks got a lower point value, or if there was a bonus for mixing things up. Also, allowing the ball to bounce off the ground a few times made it almost impossible to lose. Maybe one bounce or none at all would be better. Although I didn't try it, there seems to be some amount of replay value beyond just chasing high scores by playing in the league. Unfortunately, I lost interest (at least for now) in exploring the league mode after spending nearly 45 minutes in the first game of amateur. The pro mode was interesting with the other (soccer?) balls coming onto the screen at different angles, but when one would hit my ball, I could seldom recover. Possibly with more practice I could figure it out. Overall the mechanics in KickUp King are solid and the game could hold my interest longer if there were combos and/or trick variety bonuses. Achievements are always a good way to keep me playing too. There was one little bug with the score getting cut off on the right side when having 5 digits, but I didn't see it as a big deal. Thanks again for the promo code and good luck with the game, SuperRockGames! The idea behind amateur mode is that you complete the tutorial then try out what you learned in the easy amateur mode. Once you feel you have learned the controls you can try the 3 main modes, Pro, Time-Trial & Points Rush. I am working on the ability to recover from one of the yellow or green balls hitting your ball, i think it would be a fun addition. I have a fix coming for the bug you mentioned as well as the iPhone 6 tutorial invisible next button bug. The "next" button is still "click-able" by touching the bottom right hand corner of the screen. But the fix will make it visible and solve this issue.
