Hello guys, I wonder - does anyone tryed crowd-funding? I now trying to "kickstart" my new game - Royal Heroes. Any tips how to do it better - whould be great.
Have an awesome prototype with great graphics. If it is just an alpha version with some average screen shots your chances of success are minimal. If there is no game and just concepts zero hope. Also a good development history which proves you can do it is good. Of course the except is if your a famous developer and then you can leverage that a bit.
It could be a good idea, but you have to think about what rewards you will give people for donating $1, $5, $10, and etc?
Tip: crowd funding is bad for your health and brings out the worst in people who should otherwise be fans.
I have set rewards from 1$ to 2500$. Our Campaign is like that. I was thinking I had more then beta, but decided to make more changes and code more stuff =)
