We also plan to roll out an update to the server that will suggest new players the top teams much more often. You should soon see addition of new players to your teams (unless they're private). Hope that it'll make the game more interesting.
I don't play it on TestFlight anymore and ya we are getting new players that suck every day. Also my ball constantly disappears and for some reason we play the same team constantly. We are 9 now they are 6 and we still play them. 2 days in a row. Doesn't matter I'm over it. Later
You can check the testflight version to see if the tricks are more stable. We plan to release a patch later this week. If you'll have feedback for the beta version it might make it into the patch. About the team, that's a thing we were discussing just today. The matchmaker looks for teams that are close to your rank. Since you're at the very top, there's not too many teams to pick from and that's why you get to play against the same guys. We'll sort it out in the coming days and give it more randomness in such cases as yours. If you don't want the newcomers you can switch your team to be private and it'll work just like before the change (with basically no one joining).
Question. I synced my game on my iPhone yesterday and saved local data to cloud. Now today I have more gems and want to sync it again so I can pull data to my iPad. But.... When I go to options on phone to sync it is greyed out saying synchronized. How can I sync to cloud again?
Only one device at a time can be saving the state to the cloud - that's to avoid conflicts (and cheating). To that device that has the button grayed out and labeled "synchronized" is currently writing to the cloud. So you only need to go to the ipad, tap synchronize and pick the option to pull from cloud. If you want to play on the phone you need to repeat that procedure. I know it's a pain, but has to be this way because: - we allow you to play in offline mode, without the connection to internet - we have a multiplayer mode - we don't want people to lose save data due to conflicts The ability to play in offline prevents us from making it fully automatic and more user friendly. If you know a game that handles all those 3 points in a better way let us know
Yes. But since my last sync I have completed more challenges and got more awards and. Would like those to be saved in iCloud now. When will I be able to re sync. Because when I try to pull from iCloud my game does not come over to my iPad. Both are signed in to my iCloud and on
If a device is "synced" you don't need to do anything. It'll upload the data to cloud periodically. If it's not synced but you made progress that needs to be saved then you can tap synchronize and use the option to upload the local state. Just be aware that this will overwrite anything that's there.
There is no option to sync. On phone it just for 2 days now has said syncing. And I can't press the button. Yet when I go to iPad and sync from cloud i don't get my iPhone save.
Let me qualify for this by saying for the last couple months I've been regularly sharing info from the iCloud from my iPhone to my iPad now all the sudden I can't bring any iCloud information to my iPad and all devices are signed in
On top of that my wife is having the exact same problem with her iPhone and iPad she cannot bring her iPhone game from the cloud to the iPad although it says sinking on her device on my other iCloud saves for my other games work fine
Hmm we didn't notice any issues with the servers today. I'd appreciate if you could give me an answer to those questions: Can you see the chat or the leaderboards? Do you get the "connection error" message or does it occur in some other way (the screen freezes, etc)? Where are you playing from? (we currently have only one server and it's located in Frankfurt, Germany) Did you update to iOS 10?
I just updated to iOS 10. I'm in Ohio. Got connection error. Now on wifi. It's working. All day and last night was not. I have 2 iPads and my phone and all day syncing.
There's an update coming next Thursday. It'll bring Sydney as a new starting location add an option to search teams and will fix compatibility issues with iOS 10.
The iOS 10 iCloud issue looks like a bigger thing and probably won't be fixed in next update. We're using a 3rd party plugin for iCloud and are still verifying that bug with our supplier. Will let you know as soon as things move forward.
Is it possible in next update to reset syncing so I can sync my devices. Just not understanding why it says synced but not sharing with my ipad
I think we'll manage fix the iCloud bug for the next update. Looks like we have a solution, but to be sure we need to do some more tests. If not in the next update, then (very) shortly after. As for the connection. Sorry, I thought it was a one time incident. So correct me if I'm wrong: you can play the game only on wifi and not on the cellular? Sorry for an obvious question - but is it only for our game or did you notice similar issues with other apps/games?
