Kick-Ass was pretty kick-ass. The movie is toned down from the comic, and that's why I liked it more. I'm not saying that the comic was bad the way it was, the movie was just way more enjoyable to me.
Just saw it and yeah I agree with the R-rating, simply for all the sexual content in the first couple of minutes in the movie (went in not expecting this movie would have any of that). I really enjoyed watching this and I'm glad I did. Never knew this was based off a comic? Hit Girl was amazing and I noticed some mwf2 references.
The thing that annoyed me was people thinking this was just a comedy film like Superbad or something. I see this as an action film with jokes not the other way around. Anyway this is an amazing film and I loved it. Chloe was soooo awesome for only a 12/13 year old.
Umm... what's this sexual content? Just curious since I wanted to see this movie, and could probably see it sometime depending on how bad it is. That said, this looked like a great movie. I watched all the trailers, and really want to see it. Badly.
Well in the beginning of the movie, Lets just say the main character was playing with his "iPhone"...... If his iPhone was his $&@$.......
It was a good movie I would describe it as Tarantino on acid. but they changed way too much from the Comic Book. Now I understand that they could change some things for movie length but some of the changes were pointless for example They took out the real reason Big Daddy trained Hit Girl to fight crime only leaving his lie about Frank D'mico and also added in some character who was not in the comic to make the lie true. In reality Big Daddy was a comic nerd and decided to leave his boring life and an accountant and his wife (his marriage was close to over) and take his daughter with him to have a fun life living out his Comic Book dreams and financed all of his weapons and armor through selling his back issues. And when Dave reveals to Katie he is not gay she does not fall for him in fact she gets pissed off and sends Dave a picture of her preforming and oral sexual activity on a man's special part. And Big Daddy's character is not burned alive he gets his head blown off by a shotgun And that whole live webcast never happened. And plenty of other pointless changes
