I read that too. Although they did say the iPhone version will have some melee combat in it; to what degree, who knows.

I'm confused: the images from PocketGamer say "brawler" but Slide to Play says it's a dual-stick shooter. What gives?
If that's the case, then I can, once again, get excited about this game. A pure dual-stick-shooter would have made no sense with franchise.
It's probably mainly a brawler, Slide to Play probably got misled by the appearance of guns and shooting and thought it was a dual-stick shooter. It looks like there will be shooting, but not strict gunplay mechanics like a dual-stick, the focus will probably be on melee.

I hope iPhone version will have that bonuses too, but probably not
