Glad to hear that some people are looking forward to this -- I was beginning to think i was the only one. I love beat 'em ups, and the iPhone has been lacking a good 3D one (as an aside, wouldn't it awesome if Rockstar ported The Warriors?). You have to be suspicious of anything related to a movie property, of course, but that video looked pretty darn good.
That'd be awesome. I played it once when my cousin brought it over, and it was an awesome game. That said, this one looks great as well. For a beat-em-up it looks like a ton of fun. I just hope it's actually as fun as it looks.
Well, the combat will certainly be better, but I would be very surprised (shocked, really) if this game had the depth of content of GTA:CTW. At only eight levels, I'm expecting Kick-Ass to be fairly short. @Somerandomdude:The Warriors on the PSP is definitely worth picking up. Tons content, great variety of gameplay, lots of side-missions, and a pretty intense main storyline -- all the hallmarks of a good Rockstar game.
I'd really like to some time... It's been a good while since I've played that one. Otherwise I'll see if a friend has it or something. It really was a great Beat-em-up, but I didn't get to see much of the story since I was just playing for a while, and ended up just trying to beat the mission with the spray paint cans the entire time.
The gameplay video is for the psp judging by the aspect ratio but im sure the graphics will be the same for iphone/ipod touch Maby better they optimize it for iphone 3gs and itouch 3g with open gl es 2.0.
I really thought this was going to be some lame Scary/Parody movie cash in after seeing one of the trailers. But I couldn't be more wrong after reading the comic
Compared to what? Please list other 3D brawlers in the App Store that looked like that. Such an asinine comment: average means commonplace. This kind of game is rare in the App Store. By definition: not average.
so the iDevice version will be the same as the PSP version? will it have the same graphics and gameplay as in the trailer? if yes,it looks good,wonder how'll the controls be
They're marketing both using the same images and videos, so I have to assume that they will be very similar.
some site say that the iphone version will be a dual stick style game like Guerilla Bob and the psp will be the brawler type
