It actually has an ad removal and currency packs IAPs which aren't listed for me in app details (I would have skipped it from the start had I seen them). Looks good, loved the art (although the Game Over screen lacks attention to detail and almost looks like a template). Controls are clunky, maybe by design, which make the game a bit too difficult [for me], maybe in an attempt to force watching ads and/or purchase currency to upgrade Rin. I skipped the intro, since I knew I wouldn't be playing it for long. I’d say it’s a fine effort from a sole developer, not a top game of course, not complete, but well playable in its own way. Guess you gotta like clunk. So much thought put into the graphics. Great stealth mechanic - hiding in haystacks makes you invincible. As for being dead straight away, the instructions point out that’s the whole point, what kills you makes you stronger. First ‘I dead’ grants big power-ups. Seems they messed up by not mentioning IAP. Ad removal is reasonable though. Having said all that I’m sure no one else will tolerate Katana of Rin - 2D action RPG; it’s not smooth, cool, or grammatically correct, but I see casual and fun kind of thing.
