It's fun, yet you don't know if it's worth two dollars? How much fun can you really get for two dollars? Anyway, this is certainly not a port from the NES or arcade versions. Looks more like an old-school fan trying to pay homage while putting a few bucks in his pocket.

    No.
Unfortunately, you're wrong here. Apple is in no way responsible.

this is not the flash game I played back in the day AT ALL

Except they have a process specifically designed to vet apps? Fully responsible no, partially though? I don't see how not myself.

I don't know anything about either version but is it possible this dev has purchased the ip from the original creators?

Does anyone know if this is an emulator in disguise?

I bought it instantly without even fact checking to make sure it's the real deal and it's not an emulator it's just one game Karnov and it's very similar to the original with a few diff things about it.

    You're wrong.

Apple has a responsibility to safe-guard against copyright and intellectual property infringement on their platform.

If this was an IP more people know, like someone releasing a Mickey Mouse or Mario game, without permission, there'd be no question; except for people who don't understand copyright and trademark infringement, which unfortunately seems to be an ever-increasing number of people.

The author has a massive amount of apps released. Some other dubious ones like Snow Bros (another lesser known arcade game from the 80's).
