We sent an email to those who signed up for BETA. If you didn't get one, tell us now! For everyone else, Kale is on its way! In the meantime, here's a picture on an iguana:
Sorry for being a little late Can I be part of the beta? You should let me because I have the same name as the main character
Thanks synthetic and psj! There's a preview up at iFanzine, for those interested. Right now, we're holding a beta and resting on the development side a bit. We will likely decide to hold off on a release for the next few weeks and instead focus on the presentation of the game, as well as squashing bugs (of course!). One of the key complaints we have so far is the lack of a tutorial. Since we wanted to do a straight port, and not clog up the original design with modern ideas, we decided early on against adding a tutorial. However, it has come to our attention (thanks Helena!) that providing an in-game manual could solve the tutorial issue, add an extra dose of potent nostalgia, and allow for GameCenter and other social plugins without cluttering up the game itself.
I'm glad you posted again about this - I've been looking forward to it a lot, and was hoping it wasn't lost in development hell. Shine it up, make it pretty and bring it soon, please!
I've been waiting for this one for a while...should be a nice little Xmas present for myself hope its out by then!
Heck yeah!!! This is gonna be so awesome! You got an insta-buy from me!!!! (as long as it runs on 2nd gens )
We've written up a blog post (with pictures! ) detailing the beta test, feedback and what's next after our break is over. Thanks to all the beta testers for helping us out! ^__^
I always get happy (and hopeful) when this thread reappears; I'm dying to get my hands on this game, have been for months, and I know a lot of others here at TA feel the same way. Believe me, we'll help get the word out about this bundle of retro goodness once it drops, and want you get paid and more widely noticed so you can keep on making more.
