my phone starts burning up even on medium graphic settings. It drains the battery fairly quick too. But I dunno if anyone else has reported anything like this.
Never played neon chrome. But as far as twin stick shooters go this is a must have when it comes out.
Does anyone know where to find the yellow key to the door in the back of the second level act 1? Ive found a plethora of secret levels and collectibles but I cant seem to find this one dang thing and it looks to be technically the first secret room in the game lol.
Thanks for all the testers so far! We're nearing release - in fact we have a pre-order here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1212865786 Not sure how it works yet since it is our first pre-order ever, but there it is
Yes, JYDGE does support MFi gamepads like our previous games. We've played JYDGE with SteelSeries Stratus XL which is an excellent controller, but imo touch is actually better than some of the very cheap clunky controllers from the early days. In general gamepads are of course more precise than touch controls.
The game has been somewhat optimized since that time so I would expect it to be better. HOWEVER, there's no way around it that it does try use everything the device has got to reach 60 fps on default settings. If you've got a newer device, you can turn on 30 fps mode and reduce details to make the battery last longer, but on older devices that doesn't have as big an impact. The iPhone X gets noticeably warm on full details and 60 fps (ie. the same details as the PS4 version!), but tweaking the settings makes it a lot cooler. I still prefer to play it 60 fps with nice details even if the device gets warm and drains battery more quickly.
Since I can't preorder due to still being on ios 10, will there be a launch discount after releasing too, or is this preorder only?
Thanks for the info! One other question I had was whether the game has traditional twin-stick shooter controls like Neon Chrome. I didnt like Time Recoil as much due to the controls. Guess Im more of a run and gun fan with DSS games.
I do believe that pre-orders are iOS 11 only. The game is well worth it. It has the action of Neon Chrome with more extensive RPG-lite functions. The loadouts make it much more challenging to plan for each mission. It will be another hit for 10Tons, I am certain.
Hmm hadn't actually considered that preorders are only available on iOS 11+. But alright, to make it fair, we'll have the same discount price available for at least 24 hours after the release so people with iOS 10 or below get this benefit too.
