I purchased an audio player app called That’s My Jam developed by Interactive Disco back in 2010. It was basically a cassette player styled audio player. I wanted it more for it's nostalgia rather than it's functionality, it just looked cool.

I believe the app stopped working as of iOS 5 which was released back in 2012. The app has since been pulled. With each new iOS and iPod touch that was released, I always tried to install some of these older apps and games to see if they would run or not. A lot of them would not run on the newer iOS releases.

Flash forward to September 8, 2016, I decided to install iOS 10 on my iPod touch (6th gen). I have always kept offline backups of all my purchased apps and games.

I decided to install the app on iOS 10, and wouldn't you know it, it was running just fine. Does resize to the new screen size, but it works just fine. Definitely getting my money's worth now. I know, I know, there are current cassette player styled music apps. But hey, it was 2010.

Charmed by Mind Juice Media is another example, since iOS 8.3 it has not worked. Then it just started running again on iOS 9.2.1, so I was pretty happy.

I think I will go back and see, what are some of the oldest apps and games I have, and see if they still run or not.

My 2 cents - DockNSaucers by Stan Brandenberger, Card Shark Solitaire by Easy 8 Software and Alarm Rock by Altec Lansing were my very 1st apps ever downloaded back in 2010.
