Just revisited after many months away and I see a 'tap to move' option available! Awesome, I thought... But I've tried it and what does it do? I tapped and he didnt move... It only responded to swipes.
Just realised its Tap To Move objects in the inventory. Shame, would be sooooo much better if it really was Tap To Move Jack.
There is a crafting book where every crafting recipe you find is stored so you can always look at it and there's not at much tapping now if you select the option to hold down on blocks to break them.
Yes there's Iap but you can make every with splicing and just growing. Iap in growtopia is only needed for world lock and fertilizer. There's tap joy for those who don't want to spend real money and most range from the install and run side with points from 100 to 400 free gems each
I'm just wary when freemium games claim you can play them just fine without buying, because usually they mean "you can play just fine if you don't mind having to sit around waiting for hours to actually do anything"...
I just had another go, all excited to have turned off enemies and ready to enjoy a deeper experience than blockheads, then I remember how bad the swiping control was as I missed the 'up' swipe three times in a row as I passed the bottom of a ladder. Urgh Tap to move in Blockheads absolutely nailed it.
Wha? Growtopia's "control" is the first thing (of many) that turned me off of it. I appreciate the ambition of its design, but the controls are just awful compared to JJ. JJ's controls are quite amazing for the amount of things you can do in the game.
Is that what the peaceful option is? In growtopia there is a timer I just grew a jetpack and it took 13 hours so I put a lock on my world and goofed around with the people. Seil is a great helper he has every tier of what can grow in game and he just finished teir 5. All the crafting games are good and they all have pros and cons.
Junk Jack's controls are just perfect, I've never had any problem about that as well. Personal tastes, right? :P Yep, no monsters.
Bramblett no offence but are you on TA 24/7? Iv'e have yet to find you not in every single thread on the forums.
Junk Jack's controls win hands down.. They work perfectly for all the things you can do and are very intuitive. As for what IAP to get, I'd suggest getting the golden craftbook for sure.
New game update I have just updated the Junk Jack Sequel thread in upcoming games, I'll leave here the link since I think discussing the new game on the other thread is more appropriate: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=2628145#post2628145 Check it out
Wondering if this game is going to get widescreen support(for iPhone 5). Never bought it when I had my older devices, but this caught my eye recently after purchasing an iPhone 5.
