It's good to finally own a Universal Jack Jack. Initially I wasn't sure if they'd come out with that or an iPad edition. I prefer to play it on the iPod still, perhaps because I'm used to that. In any case, I didnt't feel a huge difference on either.
Man this game is good...I might buy all the IAPs simply to support these dudes. Can I play my iPhone worlds on my iPad???
Yes, but you'll need to do a bit of work first. You'll need to connect your iThing from which you want to extract the worlds to iTunes and open the Junk Jack page in the iThing's tab. There's a file manager window, which will show a list of your current worlds. You'll need to save those on your computer and copy them over to the other iThing using the same way. (just don't delete them from the first device, hehe) Should I make a tutorial for this with pictures and stuff? It seems to be a common question.
Oh, well in that case it should be linked to here as well. I'll ask a moderator to add it to the first post.
Ah ok, no problem. I've never played Minecraft before and I know a lot of people describe this as a 2D remake. However from what I've seen of Minecraft and what I have found impressive is the creativity of some of the structures people have constructed. However looking at youtube videos of Junk Jack I don't get a sense of this. Not saying JJ doesn't look fun, I'm on the verge of buying it but just wondering if it really is comparable to Minecraft in terms of building things?
Compared to mine craft in terms of building it is no where near the same I would more call it a Terraria type game where building is not quite a main focus but done more as a side project. Plus its 2D so the structures can only go so far but that doesn't mean you cant make something awesome. If you want to see some fan creations go to the forums and fun under the creations tab. There are quite a few good structures (none by me however).
I'm really enjoying the farming bit -- being able to plant crops and trees. I bought the botanist hat which helped in getting new seeds and saplings. That it randomly drops seeds makes it very useful! I don't know if it's just me, but iron ore seems scarcer lately.

@Rafnel you find some of the more common ones in crates and the more rare ones deep down in chests and iron crates. Just keep searching and I'm sure you will find some
I did wonder why it doesn't allow me to plant mushrooms. Now it's there on the next update, along with so many cool new features and stuff. Nice!
Another update... Minecraft IOS continually looks like a half attempt compared to this piece of epic gaming. Any one who doesn't have this needs it now.... Junk jack is the best game for replayability and these constant massive updates are turning it into a giant.
