After some time here is what I think. I don't find the tapping annoying at all I kind of like it. But there is a learning curve but I am sure after sometime there will be a good wiki made to help everyone. I know I couldn't figure out how to craft stuff but after the guide I was all set. Like Minecraft you have to learn how to do stuff, this isn't a casual game it is a block sandbox and a really good one at that. Really for a version 1.0 this game is really good on my iPhone 4 I already have an hour and half of play time. Another I really like is there doesn't seem to be much battery drain while playing that means it is coded really well. I have a feeling this is going to be going in my iPhone Top 10 up there with Pocket Frogs and Tiny Wings.
On the verge of buying but would like to hear from those playing on a Retina device how the game looks.
Looks great, I'm on an iPhone 4. You have to understand certain parts were designed to be a little pixely but the parts that aren't meant to be pixely look very clear
I'm now somewhat addicted, despite my initial frustration. I'm happy to find my own recipes now, I just needed the basic ones right away so I could survive. One question though; I would like to make a better home, does this mean I have to start again from scratch or is there some way I can pack up my stuff?
The stuff in your pack will travel with you to different "worlds" and you have 3 different options for worlds when you click the "play" button. So you could break the important things in your current world and then after collecting those things back up take them with you to a new world and delete the old one. Or go to a new world, harvest different things and then go back to your current one and have more supplies. Make sense? Good to hear you're enjoying it though

I'm really wishing I had the chest recipe by now. My full inventory is kind of an annoyance. I just have to carry tons of cooked meat everywhere ai go at night.

Lmao @ NEG comment. Not bad, but can't figure out how to make anything other than planks, and I've been playing mine raft for almost a year and a half.
