Are you standing in front of the workbench? On a different note - I think I found all the Christmas goodies! I just found a string of lights so I think that means I collected them all! My Jack is a hoarder so they are just in chests at the moment, besides, I don't want to lose them if they go away if I place them in a new update so the accomplishment for Jack is worth it!

[_] [_] [_] [N] [W] [N] [W] [W] [W] Try that, the N is for nail and the W is for wood. The _ is just empty. A metal chest is made from metal ingots and crafted like below. [_] [_] [_] [W] I is for any type of metal ingot and the W is for Widget. Hope this helps.

Yeah - they added a reinforced door which you will want to make since the wood doors break now quite often. Jack doesn't know his own strength apparently. Reinforced Door: [wood] [wood] [x] [ingot] [widget] [x] [wood] [wood] [x]
To add to NEG's post the wood door is made with the following: [N][WP][_] [WP][WP][_] [N][WP][_] N = Nail WP = Wood Plank _ is just left empty But like NEG said the wooden doors have a chance to break.
Ah excellent. Thanks for the help. I just say I'm enjoying the game so much. Just building, collecting and exploring keeps me busy for ages. Are there general depths that resources are found or should you just mine til you find stuff??
christmas notes i have: (i wouldnt know if they were in earlier, but by the theme: Spoiler snowman christmas wreath thats all. i have ornaments, candycanes and christmas trees that wont hang on the wall or stand on the floor.
And then you need the notes from the new build which includes new axes and stuff to build with new mob drops? (I am getting the new Christmas notes confused with the new build notes, sorry) The stuff for the Christmas trees you have to hang on spruce trees outside. I tried it but then took them down because of my fear they would disappear in an update. Come to think of it though I haven't found a head for my snow man yet.
ahhhhh. the discovery mechanic in this game....one of a kind. have you found any other christmas themed notes?
Well depends if you consider snow a Christmas themed note? Otherwise there are lots of new stuff for the new mobs drops.
new mob drops.....hmmm. wish i had jumped in earlier so i could see all the changed. found mythril for the first time over the weekend. and i dug a tunnel from one side of the map to the other. found some statue pieces and a blue chest i cant crack yet. wish i had more time for this game. gonna build a castle in the sky made of gold and gems......the stuff of dreams
yeah the differences in this last update and the version before are HUGE. And there are still apparently lots to come. Everyone keeps mentioning a mailbox - in fact I either saw or collected a recipe for a mailbox in the earliest version maybe. Word on the street is when the mailbox gets added then some type of quest system will enter. Not sure what that means though - go collect items? Fight mobs? But that is what is so great about this game - it is ever changing! Now if all this is to come true we need more worlds! Already I had to take my "old" world 2 and store it on my computer through file sharing and start a new one with the snow. The devs did think ahead though and allow us to utilize that precious gift.
Thanks for the kind words We have lots of other content updates planned, and we will consider making more world slots if a lot of people wants that. Oh, and maybe different statue pieces in the same map

Btw, I think there's a crash bug in the game where whenever I break down a tree to get wood, it ALWAYS crashes. (iPod Touch 3rd Gen 32gb, running iOS 5)
Okay, I rebooted my iPod and it still didn't fix the bug. Still does the same thing. I have a bug in another world where I can't even open it without Junk jack crashing.
