I am but I see why they did what they did. It must have to do with the durability of the tools you use as well, and the surface that you are clearing with them. If they can program all that together I am sure that would be preferable to how it is at the moment. Though I am getting used to it, the sounds that it makes for each surface and then those boulders you can't seem to crush with anything! So those boulders - if you clear around it will they fall down? If you are under it will it crush you? (all those hours of Gold Miner I guess are rubbing off here)
not working on iPhone 3g 8gb with iOS 4.2.1 also... it crashes and back at home i guess is the same issue as the 2nd a 3th gen ipods from a couple of pages back...
Unless they changed something major then no it won't fall or crush you. At least it never happened in the beta
Mmk, so this game definitely looks like something I'd love to play but I have NO experience playing Minecraft... How easy is the game to grasp for those not familiar with crafting items and things like that? EDIT: I should mention I saw Bertman's post asking the same thing but was looking for a more detailed answer than "yes, get it"
Unfortunately not. they did in an early build, but the devs weren't quite happy with it. I was told that it'll probably be included in a future update though
Would be cool if they fell, just not the crushing part. But again, glad I won't die working around under them!
It seems pretty cool but I think the book should be automatic so you have the ability to save all your recipes right from the start. It all seems like a lot of work and not all that fun. Im already feeling tedious.
Yes, we need a complete and more detailed craftbook available from the beginning We thought crafting was easy.. but we were wrong! We have updated the description in the appstore, and the new book will be included in the next update.
Since the version that works with older devices seems to be the "beta" build, does that mean that in order to play we have to use the beta build forever or will there be an update which will fix the "full" game? (not that I don't mind playing the beta build, but if it's not as finished as the full game that I payed for, I would be a tad bit upset) Thanks again though for trying to get this problem fixed.
After 30 minutes, I can safely say I have no idea what's going on. Going to check out the beginner's guide and hopefully the experience gets better. Feels like an extremely niche game right now. The controls are pretty obnoxious in my opinion as well.
I only played 5 minutes of minecraft (haven't played more then that since getting this game) and I picked it up quite easily. There is a tiny bit of a learning curve where you have to get used to how things work but it's not rocket science or anything. Like I said before it's simpler then most games and comes more naturally, in my opinion
Are you next to the workbench when you try to build it? BTW if you already know how to build something you can build it right away. In other words you don't need the recipes in order to build something
Don't worry, the icon is just a mistake i made , we fixed that. Jack is working hard on fixing the touch 2g - iphone 3g crash bug!
