You sound like a cheap and poor person. It's 3 dollars. If you don't have 3 dollars, then you need to get off the internet and get a job.
Agree, he asked about a sale. Let him be. Anyway, created my first work bench. How do I make Iron bars?
Damn, that's sad. You guys are touchy. I could own the game for all you know and may be waiting to recommend it to some friends. But you both must know me so well because I'm so cheap and poor for asking a question that you stumbled upon via the Internet. I have no job and stay home all day trolling boards asking about sales because I'm so cheap. Grow up, kids. Thank you Robotwars, adamphetamine and SuperSah. At least you guys are reasonable, hah. Combining two ingots of X material will you the bar of it.
Quick update: Some new mobs are coming I'm still working on sounds and drops, while Jack is testing the tree saplings, and a beautiful trap door!
Trap door - uh oh - what does this mean? And will new mobs leave stuff like the green blobs leave goo?
Sweet, first thing that comes to mind is: "don't you open that trap door, cause there's something down there" For those old enough to remember it lol.
I agree with you Joshnsuch, they should have done a Black Friday sale, because right now, they are about to leave the Top 100 overall games in US, which is not a really good thing for them. My point of view is that people over the world see this wonderful game, but with a relatively high price for a iOS game, and they don't really know how much depth there is in this game. So they hesitate to buy it or not. AND some people (I am one of them) are often waiting for a sale to grab a game that they hesitate about. (I bought Junk Jack day one because of TA, but not everyone are on TA) SO, if you make a sale, you will get even more interest from people that hesitate to buy it, they will leave great reviews and you will get even more attention from people around the world, even if the sale last only for 1 or 2 days. That's what I think you should do, since a LITE version is barely impossible to make 'cuz of the sandbox type of game. Anyway, can't wait for the seedling and trap doors update
I think you are absolutely right. When they will drop the price to a buck, there are good chances to become an instant classic. I hope the devs are reading this
Actually i admire the devs for not throwing a black friday sale. I personally think that the price is more than reasonable. Making it a buck would not per se lead to a whole lot of better reviews as it's not a casual game that's for everybody. For this price people tend to do a bit more research into the game and thus filters out the casual crowd who wouldn't understand this game and give a 1 star review. It's only been out a few weeks and i always appreciate it as an early adapter that the price stays the same for at least a little while. Too many times i thought to support a dev by buying a game day 1 and see a sale after only 1 or 2 weeks.Without a little compensation like a nice in-game goodie i always get a bad taste in my mouth^^.
BUT if a game's sales begin to drop, there's more chance that the devs would stop updating the game and THAT would give a bad taste in everyone's mouth Even if it's only a buck, a game like this one will NEVER get the attention of Casual Gamers, mainly for its description and screenshots, everyone out there is able to make the difference between a casual and a hardcore game other than with the price... I agree that sometimes it's frustrating to see that a game drops from 2.99 to 0.99 one week after you bought it, but hey, if you like the game, just tell yourself that you gave more money to devs that REALLY deserve it
i myself am waiting for it to drop to 99 cents since all i have left is 1.62 on my card, and dont really want to buy another $15 card for just one game... Waiting for a sale so i can buy it... but only 1.62 won't let me =/ (I know there are a ton of games out there right now but i have over 50 bought games that i have to play, so i can't really be spending more to buy more games when i havent even finished those other 50 games... some i havent even started)
