This the game making fun of you I'd wager you've reached the edge of the world, but the game does render some number of squares past the barrier, and in your case there happens to be a diamond chest where you can never reach it.
Thanks for your detailed feedback. Here is what happened: 1) Put ingredients into Craft Box and made the torch. 2) Placed the Torch, not sure how I did that, just tap? 3) Using the same ingredients in my Craft Box, hitting the "Craft" again button made nothing. And I can't make the Pickaxe even though I have the right ingredients, If I have to be standing next to something, how am I supposed to know that without looking online? Ok, just realized that I can just put a pile of ingredients into the slots without having use "just one" to craft an item (wood ax) that's a big help. Was just trying again, found come cool recipies...started to get really excited, then stuck ungerground again.
Yes to water. I have already built a massive bridge in anticipation that one day water will lap around its base. Or Lava! Basically I'm building the castle from Shrek
I guess this has already been said in the 60 pages of thread, but I'm not gonna read them all. For newbies: crafting has its logic. Try to "draw" the object you want in the 3x3 crafting section of the menu. This is how I made the oven. I thought "What is a prehistoric oven? A fire surrounded by stone..." So I did exactly that, and the oven (or whatever is called) appeared crafted Think "pixel". How would you make a sword with a 3x3 pixel template? I have never played Minecraft nor Terraria (is this the name? I'm not sure). As a newbie, the only thing I would have requested was the recipe book already made (as the update is going to give), plus the first two pages of what you're supposed to do (survive) and that that you should begin by digging digging digging to find the recipes. With that, it would have been enough, at least for me Anyway, great game, I really love it. Don't abuse with IAP if you decide to integrate them, you could well kill the game if you integrate them wrongly.
Now thats a HUGE help, and did that spoil the game for anyone else? On a more serious note: Do trees and flowers re-grow? If not would be awesome if they did, what if when young they gave a sprout, then a limb then a log? Like the longer you wait the more "powerful" the harvested item is. Each with different uses (log houses, or sticks for lighter items).
I think in the distant way back when, before everyone had fallen out with each other there was mention that farming would be coming to Junk Jack.....
So since getting stuck underground I just erased my world and made a new one, and wow! Already found some cool items and things I've never seen before. Like a vase and trunk. (not made, already sitting there) Also some new terrain that I've not seen before. Found this review and they echo some of my observations. Look guys, I'm with you on this, Junk Jack is pretty incredible, I am enjoying it even though I point out things I've struggled with. Doesn't mean I don't love this game and support Pixbits. to those who want bosses..im not sure that belongs in this sort of game. It doesnt seem to fit, unless theyre optional to be beaten, and then you get some sort of crafting reward or something.
Same here, I hope they didn't scrap the patch in favor of this content update (that would come with the patch). (That would mean it would take even longer for it to come out)
iCloud saves please!!! I'm spending far too much time in my sandbox on one device to start over on another device. I realize I can swap saves in iTunes, but that just gets messy.
