I think despite notes being littered everywhere, there needs to be a basic tutorial, otherwise people are going to get frustrated. Everything else: graphics, controls, perfect!

 

Well that's your problem. You can't place just wood chunks.

You can create wood paneling by setting up your grid like this:

*sigh* I have restarted my iPod twice, deleted and reinstalled it twice, and it keeps crashing as soon as the "PixBits" logo appears.


Running 4.x.x on iPod 2nd gen.

 

First off... Why does the icon say "beta"?? When I click it, "request can't be completed."

 

There really should be a tutorial as im finding this all really confusing ive found random notes which kind of show me how to make things but don't tell me what I need to make them, things like I've had no note to tell me how to make basic things like wooden planks or tools but I've had advanced one?
If I hadn't played crafted for the last week I would be really lost so from a newcomers point of view I can see this would put people off.

The game itself is looking really nice and with tons of depth but really just needs a better tutorial.
Oh and the insane amount of tapping required is getting old fast I'd much rather prefer hold to dig instead of tap tap tap tap tap.............
After all this don't take this the wrong way I really like the game and can see me spending a lot of time with it. Just thought its worth noting the things that could do with improving.

 

And of course Australia gets shafted! Or maybe it will show up tomorrow??

 

What is the combination of items to make torches? Digging in the dark isnt quite working out

 

I'm in Brisbane and it worked for me. You need to click the iTunes buy link from your phone and it'll take you to the page. It doesn't show up on search yet.

 

It's now removed from the US App store?

 

I searched it, and it has a beta icon.. Why would they remove it?? DD:

 

If you click on the link from the first page it says that the app is not available in the US, and when you click on the app from you're phone/iPod it tells you "Your request could not be completed."


I'm guessing that a broken version was released? (Maybe that is why it would not work on my iPod)

 

This is an issue that came out with 2G devices, would you mind joining us at forum.pixbits.com and send us your UDID so that we can let you try a testing version to investigate and fix the issue?

We had some 2g testers that played smooth so it's weird, but we want to fix it as soon as possible.

It's an easter egg No just kidding! One of 6 icons hadn't been changed for mistake. It's already fixed in 1.0.1 that will ship as soon as we will have fixed the 2g issue..

I just rebooted, and had a clear multitasking bar, and got a "not enough memory" warning on my 4th gen. oO
