Fantastic game. I'll love it and glad you gave props to those who deserve it. Shut up and have my money.
If the devs only change whatever is necessary to fix the crash and notify apple they can have an emergency bug fix out in a day maybe two. But if there is any new content then the whole thing has to be reviewed as normal (~5 days depending on the queue) I haven't had a chance to pick this one up yet, but I thought I'd chime in
Forgot about the emergency thing - maybe they did specify that! Hope so cuz more people should be playing this! I went to another world for the first time to go searching for stuff and man what a haul! I found SO much stuff! Gems and widgets and loads of recipes! Certainly a good idea to go scavenging! I get more enamored with this game the more I play it!
Ipad Version ... I have an iPhone 3g and an iPad 2. I'd like to buy Junk jack and play it on my iPad but don't want to have to pay for it again when the universal or junk jack HD version comes out. Anyone know what the deal is with early iPad adopters? I went to the dev blog and forums and the question isn't being answered there (or i haven't searched hard enough). If i buy now for iPhone and play it upscaled, will i have to buy it again for a native iPad version when it is released?
I thought this was universal, doh. No big deal, just wish the saves were at least iCloud synced like Zombiville 2 does. I'd like to maintain a constant sandbox between my I devices. Lastly, can anyone help me with the recipe for a torch?
Earlier in the thread the dev said there was no FINAL plan but as it stood at the moment - first, fix things in game as it is now; second, make a universal update. But of course, no promises, just the HOPEFUL plan. I hate repeating what developers say and have people take it as gospel as things change all the time. At least this should be something happy to look forward to if it materializes. Middle bottom square put a stick. Middle square put a piece of coal OR for a very cool torch put a green piece of goo.
Would a scrolling feature ruin the balance? Sometimes I would love to see what is just below me or just to the left or right and even with the zoom can't tell what it is that is bouncing around over there.
I gotta say, this game looks really amazing, but.... ....with the whole "tap a billion times to dig" thing, I'm finding it totally unplayable. I have what's best described as "nerve problems", nothing too serious, I go to therapy for it, but the simple fact is, I cant handle that extremely repetetive motion for very long. "Very long" being about 3 minutes. Makes my whole arm feel like it's on fire. The rest of the controls seem fine, but the tap-tap-tap bit seems bloody stupid; why not just be able to HOLD your finger on the block you want to dig? You know, like in Minecraft, and Terraria? You just hold down the key until the block breaks.... much easier. Hoping to see this changed in an update, but for now, I have to set this game aside.
HOLD to break blocks Hi guys, based on all your precious feedback, we decided to implement a "hold to break blocks" feature. Coming soon!
Just been reading the reviews on iTunes (I'm in the uk) and there's a lot of people saying this doesnt work for them using iPod 4g? Well I'm using an iPod 4G 32g and it's working fine for me and has been since launch, and I've put in a lot of hours so far. Never crashed or anything it might be worth saying I've only created one world and haven't made more to farm things like some people have said, (incase multiple worlds have something to do with crashing?) And it's obvious to most but always reset your device after installing a new game and it won't load. Well thats just my experience so there you go.
As updated pic of how my castle an mine are coming along. Does anyone know if you can make tools without wood as I seem to have run out, so far I've only been using the first world I created but it's looking like I'll need a second world to get more wood.
I've got all 3 worlds going - 1 as my 'home world' and the other two for mining, harvesting wood and livestock. But each world seems pretty endless as well - I went as far as I could one way to see where the world ended and it just kept going on and on. Does anyone know if the worlds have an actual end?
so, is there any prospect of world sharing with this title in the future? would be nice to play around with other people's creations - Eden world builder did this quite nicely.
