I sometimes find small box underground - not a chest, but a smaller wooden box. Are these supposed to be open-able? Or I'm just supposed to smash them for resources?
Does anyone know what stone looks like? I apparently am using the wrong thing to make a sword..If its not those boulders on the surface of the land then what is it?
Just break them open for some items. Stone is what drops when you break the gray blocks in the ground (similar to dirt).
Major bug report: I just had a crash, after which my inventory was completely empty when I logged back in. The very first block I dug dropped the original crafting recipe again, which leads me to believe that my entire character data was wiped. My worlds still seem to be in the same position I left them in, though. The only useful information I can give to the devs is that it happened after I flipped between worlds a few times. After one of the switches, I dug one block and the game crashed. I immediately started the game up again and entered a world to find my items gone.
Very very sorry to hear that. I'll talk to Jack later about that, we hope to find a solution for that problem. Were you near the bottom of the world by any chance? What is your device? Are you jailbroken? Thanks for your help.
Actually one more thing I'd like to see - when crafting items a hold option to craft all available. Tapping for ~100 torches is not much fun. As long as it works the same as hold-to-use in the inventory, I don't foresee any problems...
Has anyone made the lantern yet? I don't like the torches cause I hate how they drip... There's another torch that is [T][][] [][] [][] Bamboo -B Torch-T I prefer them to the normal torch, though i use torches while mining, but for my house/backyard garden I prefer the bigger torches. Anyone know how to make a diamond studded chest? I want one, the best I have Is a gold chest. Also is hell the last biome? Can you ever dig through the black pixellated blocks or is that the end? Is there anything else you can craft with gems other than gem blocks?
I have 2 parts of each of 3 different statues. As far as I can tell there are only 3, and they are 3-piece sets.
Does anyone know what the blocks at the very bottom of the world look like? As far as I can recall, they're supposed to be unbreakable and I couldn't break the ones I saw with a mithril pickaxe. They were past a Helll biome too, so if someone can clarify, that would be grand. Also, question for Pixbits: Would it be a good idea to make the overworld loop instead of stopping at the edges? It's just a bit more realistic, that's all. I'd just like to add that I absolutely adore this game, even if it makes my wrist hurt a little.
I was not near the bottom of the world. Actually, I was pretty close to the surface because I was trying to farm copper. My device is an iPhone 4, running iOS 5, and not jailbroken.
Dazarath, thanks for clarifying about the box earlier! I'm having trouble finding iron ore. I've gone deep enough to have found copper and a host of other interesting artifacts but not a single lump of iron. What is its source block supposed to look like? I also found a part of the statue - how do I pick this up?
To get the statue I used a gold hammer. And im sure the iron looks like the copper blocks but grey and sparkling instead, not 100% though as I keep coming across iron and silver but never check what I collected until I resurface
