I have been digging the official forums, and I found an official statement about that:

Yes, we can confirm that we won't do any specific iPad version. Whenever there'll be a UI tailored for iPad it will be in an universal update.

But this will probably come after a while, we have so many things to care about before.. in any case it's perfectly playable in 2x until that moment!

Man, you're fast... especially since I'm the one who asked him and just came back to these forums to post the info, lol.

Link to the forum post if anyone wants to follow it:

Wow just it the achievement for filling the craft book. Even when it's full it doesn't tell you all the things you can make, I think it just tells you enough so that you have to experiment and figure out the different materials yourself.

Either way once you get the hang of crafting experimenting is the fun part to see what you can make.

I can't believe how many hours I must be putting in to this. Kind of makes me think I should have checked mine craft out a long time ago lol, although if I had I suppose junk jack wouldn't seem quite as new and unique.
Well I love it anyway. :)

This is a good question that I wish I had known the answer to earlier.

For a stone pickaxe, copy the recipe for the wood pickaxe, except replace the wood blocks with stone blocks.

For any of the metal pickaxes (iron/silver/gold/mithril), replace the wood with the appropriate ingots. I believe you need to be standing near an anvil to craft one of these.

The same is true for the metal versions of the other tools. And some items can also be crafted with metal instead of wood, for example the chest.

Is it just me or is jumping pointless? I did see that you (kinda) jump forward if you swipe diagonally towards the top corners but it still doesn't seem like enough to even bridge a one-block gap. Am I missing something?

Other than that I am loving this game. Bravo Pixbits, I've never played minecraft or terraria but I am having a blast with this! Can't wait for the updates!

You can use jump to gap one square across and also you can jump up or down diagonally across gaps. Like this

    Edit. See below post.

Here's a screen shot. If you dig you mine like this you can go up and down with out using ladders as you can jump the gaps with a diagonal swipe.

    1. i have the recipe, wood, widget. I can not make a dam chest no matter how i try.

    2. Anyone from the Junk Jack forum can tell me wdf is "How many are we?"

    Control issues is so frustrating.

aha, cool thanks, That makes a lot more sense now, tried it again and it's contextually based in that swiping diagonally doesn't do anything unless you're in the right position. Thanks for the info that will make mining even easier!

Are you standing in front of a workbench when you are trying to make it?

Thanks for that ;) I've dug so deep in one of my worlds that there's a barrier of boulder and boulder-akin stones that block me to get any lower. And I think I heard the sound of water...not sure if that made it in to the release versions @pixbits(?)

Anyone who has checked out the creation part of the pixbits forum has probably seen one of my tree houses. Now that it's the full version I figured it was time to upgrade the tree houses:

Ladder puts me up by my workshop and foyer. Then if I go right I arrive in the showroom which is full of jewels and treasures. Then I cross the bridge to my bedroom.

It's still a work in progress, I need more leaves and wood. I've probably got two more worlds of trees to harvest before I can complete this part of the house.

I'll be adding on more rooms and another story eventually.

    awesome game!

It has the same "feel" to it as minecraft..
Just one more block, one more thing to craft, one more recipe I want to find... etc etc.
If you pick this game up, its hard to put down. And its an incredible game.
If anyone is reading this wondering whether to buy it or not, buy it. right now!
The controls aren't as bad as I feared, I quite like them actually.
The only itsy bitsy detail that annoys me currently and that I will have to get used to is combat.
Other than that I have been waiting for this game for ages, and the waiting has paid off! :D

Now I know why I want a way to skip the night; on Minecraft I could just let the app run in the background until day came. On Junk Jack, I feel like I'm wasting battery if I let the app just sit there and run.

Put up torches and play like you would during the day. Not much of a difference.

Its no different if you'r under ground. In minecraft, I mine at night, and mess around above during the day.

I play during day and night just the same, just make a silver or gold sword and you can kill the monsters before they get you.

Nice tree house I like the idea of a house in the trees.

Here's a pic of my castle.
