I've never played minecraft and I'm in love <3 So I'd say yes, at first it's a bit confusing so I'd recommend checking out the beginners guide (there's a link a few pages back I think) it basically tells you what you need to do to get started. After that it's brilliant I think I've played for around 5 hours so far.
That is really not an issue. Since you can have three worlds and bring all your inventory with you between them you can keep one slot for a "farming world", that can be deleted when you want a fresh supply. Gathering wood is pretty fast as well, and only takes a couple of minutes to last you an hour of exploring/crafting. As a person who have beta-tested this game for the past couple of months I have to say you will be hard-pressed to find any bigger issues with gameplay/balancing. It might still contain some minor bugs but overall it's a very well crafted game! Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Pixbits, I just love the guys for letting me beta-test this awesome game!
In the last hour i had 3 crashes. After the 1st crash i rebooted my iphone 4,but after the last 1 i also lost my recipe book, very annoying, since i was just collecting recipes for now and try to figure out how everything works. I dont wanna go to the forums everytime i wanna craft something. I'll start all over now but if i loose my recipe book again i'll stop playing.
If you make a new recipe book I'm fairly certain it will contain all the craftnotes you already collected.
I actually posted the link on the first post to make it easy for everyone! @Krautboy - yes create a new book and all your recipes will appear like magic!
That is awesome news!Thanx very much.Too bad i deleted all data to make a nice fresh start^^.But very good to know. -Update:even after deleting all data, recipes are still there.Very nice!
Wooow this game alteady got 23 pages on this forum in only one day! Thats amazing, I hope you guys (PixBits) are really proud of this wonderful piece of art There's only two things I would like to suggest for further update : 1- A virtual joystick for the player to be able to move with two button instead of flicking, with the ability to mine things without having to tap freneticaly everytime (like crafted where only put your finger on the rock for a long time to mine it) 2- More "in-game" slots (We only have 4 now and would be really awesome to have 4 more on the left side of the screen) Sorry if these had already been suggested! I really love your game guys! Keep up the good work!
sandbox game on iDevices?!?!? Its a dream come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tytytytytytytytytytyty
Honestly it's not that big of an issue as of right now and it's going to come as an update so I'm not sure what the big deal is. Takes like 5 minutes of work and you'll have enough wood for a loooooooooooooonnnnnnggggggg time. Give it a chance
There's a lot of good things to be said about the game, but one thing bothers me... how the white selection box in the inventory is underneath my finger. An offset (or option) for having it select above where I'm clicking would be hugely helpful. At the moment I continually miss where I'm clicking.
Most definitely. Whether you like Minecraft or not, you should find the game world fun to explore. It's a great experience overall.
Anyone know what this is? I can't break it with any of my tools. Also I've came across 2 treasure chests so far that I can't open. I think one was gold and one silver but they make the clink clink sound of something you can't break.
It is a part of a statue. I've never managed to assemble a whole one, but I did find one part which needed a golden hammer to disassemble!
dumb question: if you placed a furnace/bed/spinning wheel/piece of art etc, are you able to move it? if that's possible, how so?
I bought this game a few hours after it was placed on the App Store, and I haven't been able to put it down and write some impressions. So far, I'm really liking the game. The crafting is done really well, plus the controls are simple and easy to use. Pixbits has done a great job designing a UI that was built specifically for iOS devices. I have a few suggestions I'd like to offer: 1) I don't mind that the game doesn't hold your hand through some boringly long tutorial (actually, I prefer it this way), but I feel that the crafting book (which is kind of like a mini-tutorial in itself) could use some improvement. For example, I didn't get the recipe for the book itself until maybe 15+ recipes in. I think the recipe for paper, as well as the book, should drop earlier, since they're super helpful for a player just starting out. It's no fun to have half of your inventory taken up by recipes. Also, I had no idea that we were supposed to use the tool recipes and just guess at other materials to make stronger tools. I knew that there were other versions of the tools, but it wasn't until I finished the book that I realized I wasn't going to get a recipe for the more powerful tools, at which point I looked it up online. 2) I think the inventory management could be improved, especially when dealing with chests for storage. Right now, I have several chests which I use to hold items that I use less, but it's a pain trying to dig through them to find what I need. Larger chests would help a lot, but what I'd really like to see is the ability to craft a single, giant stash to hold all of our extra stuff.
