Must just be unlucky then; thanks though. Also; are you supposed to be able to make copper tools? Because I can't.
I'm not sure how to make any tools better than stone ones? One question though is. Does the world keep going in all directions for ever? Or will I find an end eventually.
Game Impressions I finally had a chance to read through the online tutorial and spend some more time with the game. I now understand more what the game's about, and, unfortunately can say with some confidence that's it's not for me. Objectively I think the game's quite impressive and I can totally see why a lot of folks will love this. Personally I just can't deal with the degree of micro management and that kills it for me. I want to explore, dig, discover... Not worry about putting the umpteenth shovel or pick axe together through the same laborious process. Constantly re-arranging items in my inventory. I want to paint the big picture and have someone else make the canvas, paints, and picture frame for me. Still, as I said, impressive and well put together game for those into this kind of stuff.
When you have an item in one of your quick tabs tap somewhere and hold, then release. Your item will be thrown in that direction. But you can go to your backpack, then drag items into the trash container to delete them. They are hard at work on this. I'm sure it will be solved very soon The guy only has three posts... I'd say get it now and hope for universal. Who knows if it will even be attempted on the iPad. I don't believe any sort of trial will ever be released. It's worth the $3 and there are a ton of achievements. New ones will be added through updates. Yes it's normal. They're thinking of having the light on your helmet light up all the time but it didn't make the release. If you hit the pause button the game autosaves. If you hit the home button the game autosaves. You can hit options in the main menu, then "delete player data" to remove all your items if you want to start completely fresh Yes you need to go deeper to find more/rare metal You will find an end eventually. The devs are planning to have endless worlds eventually but as of now it's not unlimited
Are signs an option? As the chests are quite small it would be handy to label them. Also in MC I find them invaluable for more complex cave networks.
Signs! That would be a cool idea. I've got four storage boxes right now and keep having to check them all to find stuff. To find my way around my mines I've taken to using blocks of dirt to block off passages ive made and put a torch on the other side of the block to remember its a tunnel I've made. That way I can mine rare stuff I pass but then block it up and continue my digging down and come back to that tunnel later on. (sounds confusing but it works for me).
For some useful information and getting started you can check out the official wiki: http://wiki.pixbits.com/index.php/Main_Page Since I seem to be the only one working on it, it would also be awesome if anyone else would like to help out making it more useful.
I believe they said signs are going to be in an update as I brought it up on the Pixbits forum previously Also a cool upcoming update will be the addition of farming and trees/bamboo that regrow Also guys remember there are only 2 developers for this entire game. They really listen to what their fans have to say and try their best to implement new things. For instance I though Tiki Torches would be a cool addition and they liked that idea so much that torches were added the next day.
Only 2 devs! Holy cr@p major respect due. Regrowing trees would be great as I have to walk for ages to find any now. Edt. Wow what a bargain we've got here £1.99 is very cheap indeed for the amount of effort this must have taken 2 people to make.
Great game, liking it a lot so far — I'm a great Minecraft fan, and this certainly gives a cool mobile fix with quite a lot of its own character. One thing that I'd love to see would be tooltips in the inventory, as half the time I have absolutely no idea what i'm looking at.
Wait.. there are no seeds to replant trees? Pass. Was really looking forward to this game, but I'm not walking around ages looking for trees and hoarding wood.
Wow, this thread got big in such a small time... So I assume it's good? Would I like it if I never played Minecraft?
