Hmm... I haven't had any iron difficulties so far. I've got my anvil, a stock of picks, swords and shovels etc. I'm working on getting enough silver/gold to upgrade effectively now.
It's the suite used. If you use Apple's current devkit to compile, iOS4 is no longer able to supported, period. Nothing technical about it. Some devs have alternative suites that let them do it, but Apple themselves forbid doing so with their own development software.
Then this might have changed not long ago because back in May I had the updated SDK and latest version of xCdoe and still managed to push an update to KC2 with support for iOS 4 as well as widescreen support...
Around a year ago everything before 4.3 was dropped. A couple months ago iOS 4 deployment was dropped completely and 5.0 is now the lowest target. So I'd say you made it just in time to pull that off(with updated software, that is). But in order to target iOS 7 and properly take advantage of it, developers will have to be up to date and that means dropping everything prior to 5.0.
Hi everyone! I am completely new to both games, and really don't know which one to get. Does Terraria have multiplayer? And what is the real bug difference between the two? I like building stuff and crafting, but adventure would be cool too. Thanks!
One of the quickest ways to collect resources is to generate a new world and start mining straight down, you will encounter a decent amount of iron on the way down. While you're headed down periodically zoom out on the map to notice lit dungeons with chests to get more loot.
Ahhhhh, spent all day waiting for Terraria and then this appears as well!!!My head nearly exploded trying to decide.....then I realised I just needed to buy both.
I've only played it for a couple hours so far but it looks like they took all the feedback from the first one and rolled it into the new one. It's the Junk Jack you love, cranked to 11: improved UI, more things to do, different tile sets, multiplayer and a bit more avatar customization.
That's a good point. I think I will go with the iPhone then. Now I can't wait to get a 5s. My 4s needs to be put to rest.
I've never played Terraria but I put way more hours into Junk Jack than I ever thought I would. Having multiplayer is what sold me. I can buy them both but I will wait a bit on Terraria. There is really no reason for me to have then both right now.
Does anyone have any tips for dealing with lava, specifically chests submerged in lava? I'm hoping beta testers can chime in with some gems of wisdom.
I have yet to get a response. ): What am I supposed to do in this game? I understand adventure, mine, craft, and build aspect, but that is boring to me. Is there more to this? Edit: Or a beginners guide?
I haven't hit a chest in lava, but I would assume you could surround the chest with another block type and use a bucket on the tile the chest is on. For just getting through lava I just replace it with a standard block.
Awesome game. I also chose this over Terreria. I like the overall look. It seems more polished. This is probably due to Terreria being a port. Besides that, multiplayer was a must for me.
Apple didnt seem to like it at all. Not editors choice or new and noteworthy. Really hope it still does well.
I haven't played this version of JJ yet, but in Deepworld I would just break a bunch of blocks straight down below a lava pit, and then sit to the side and break the top one last to let the lava drain out into the tunnl\hole I created below it. Then get your treasure.
You just explore, find stuff, build stuff, do what you want really. It's an open sandbox. The mulitplayer might help where you could challenge each other at something you decide. It's up to you to do what you want in these types of games.
