    Clay is semi common in the upper part of Terra planets where it's mainly soft earth.

    Mauls are similar to hammers but for one more handle piece:
    [\][-][.]
    [-][\][.]
    [.][.][\]

    . = nothing
    - = ingot/stone or wood block
    \ = handle piece, either iron bar for ingots above iron, wood plank for everything else

    Unbreakable blocks. Nothing particularly special about them, just random and sometimes annoying.

    You'll hit another variety of unbreakable when you've reached the depth limit. They aren't covered like this but you won't get the "need a stronger tool" message when hitting them either.

    Thanks, I understood that much but what I'm trying to figure out is if I want to attach it to an accessory, as in not clothing or a tool, what are my options? Do I need to craft a ring, and how do I do that? I have no recipe for a plain ring, but I have lots of recipes for jeweled rings. Are the jeweled rings what I need to make? I found mention of a plain gold ring in the wiki, I think.

    The reason I don't want to encrust a tool is they will wear out, and I don't want to encrust armor because I don't want to be limited to one costume. When I find a new cool outfit I'll want to change into it and lose my encrusted ability.

    That is a steel bar. In the original JJ they were unbreakable with any tool, but could be destroyed with explosives (TNT or better). Haven't had a chance to try yet, but the Titanium tools might be capable of breaking through.

    Titanium does not work.

    If any tools could break them then you would probably receive the "need a stronger tool tool to break this" message.

    Will my existing worlds benefit from this change?

    No. Anything you can see in the game before you dig it up (blocks, ores, biomes, etc.) is set at the time the world is generated.

    I wish there was some way to get rid of them, or at least place them. I've got an unfinished one right near the surface of my build world and it bugs me not having an end piece.
