I still lost my items after someone kill me in multiplayer... The "No Death Drop Online" option is enabled. Other than this, the game feels much more secure now. I already reached Alba Edit: I was the host, and both thieves killed me with bombs/TNT.
Were you hosting? There is no protection for hosts. If you joined someone else's game, that's not supposed to happen. EDIT: saw your edit So, yeah, this is what I was talking about. Now the thieves will target hosts. If you entertain yourself by mugging people, stopping the death trap hosters just sends them out into the wild.
I ran into the same confusion, because when you hit a chest with a lock it tells you that you need a stronger tool. It doesn't tell you hey, the chest is locked fool. Unlocking with a key seems obvious... but when they tell you to get a better tool, I went to find a better tool instead of thinking about the lock.
Aw I think (says in changelog they tweaked other planet spawns) they reduced mob spawns for magma :/ I was wishing it was just terra, I liked the mob drops from magma heh
I think people need to spend some time playing the update before crying about nerfs again. I've been playing 2.01 for close to two weeks, there is no shortage of spawns anywhere.
I just started playing and I can't craft cloth with a loom like in JJ. Is the recipie different ? I'm just trying to make a bed and most craft recipies have worked from JJ. Seems cool so far.
I am livid right now. Some guy blamed me for taking there portal peice and made me drop all of my items then left the game. MOTHER GAHHHHHHH. I don't care I'm name and shaming him Rebelson is his name. Stay away from him.
The "spinning wheel" actually functions like a sewing machine and does NOTHING like a spinning wheel. The "loom" is now functionally a spinning wheel, go figure. Anyhow, you craft yarn with the loom and turn it into cloth with the spinning wheel.
Anyone else find the wolf cape yet? I just realized it completely eliminates fall damage. Looks a bit goofy though (like a wolfs head cap). Got it from killing an enemy on Alba. Just wondering exactly how rare of a drop it is.
Figured out a workaround: I created a second adventure world, entered and left it. After this I was able to access my primary adventure world successfully.
I'm not/was not crying. I've been reading through entire thread awhile, you really do come off as arrogant. Just because you're a beta tester doesn't mean you're entitled to push others view/experience down the toilet whether they differ from you or not. I'm merely a little "disappointed" with the reduction, I didnt even mention shortage, I just said it seemed reduced. I know you have good intentions but you don't need to appear all high and mighty on comments that don't appease you.
Agree completely. He's been acting like an arrogant snob all throughout this forum- talking down to people, back-handed insults, jumping all over people for not playing a sandbox game the way HE does. Intentions aside, he comes of as a hipper-than-thou douchecicle.
Happy to help! I'm curious to know how it goes, so if you remember, please post again to let us know how tall it gets. If you don't want to use your metals, you can dislodge statues by using medium bombs (two sticks joined together).
But that would blow up my precious OCD floors and make me have to rebuild them Heh, never thought of getting the statues with bombs. FWIW, though, it is very little wear on a mithril hammer to harvest the statues. I broke down tonight and crafted my first mithril tools to grab a scorpion statue I found. I'd dare say you can probably bust out more than a couple of dozen statues before you'd break a mithril hammer.
Then put me on ignore just like I'm about to do to you and save everyone else the trouble. I'm not here to play concierge but, believe it or not, also not here to argue or make others feel bad, so if my style offends you, please, just don't read what I write. If someone annoys me or gets under my skin to where it bothers me routinely, I put them on ignore and the whole board is a happier place for it - I made the mistake of taking MidianGTX off ignore a couple of weeks ago and we all saw how that turned out . Not going to repeat that mistake
