Hey I'm one of the unlucky people who lost there game worlds and characters and I heard there was a fix coming but is there any chance of the characters/ worlds coming back after the fix? If not time to start a new world
I'm still learning the game, can anyone tell me what kind of tool is required to break these items? Iron tools weren't strong enough and I've hesitated to craft anything with my silver or gold lumps because I have so few of each. Also, is that tall skinny thing even something worth trying to break/collect or is it just a torch? Thanks.
For the chests you need a copper key to open the lock, then you can break them with a hammer. I found lots of keys but you can also craft them if you don't have any. The tall skinny thing is a chandelier. It's only decorative, maybe it gives off light. Mind that there is a chance that it won't drop at all if you break it.
Using a key didn't even occur to me, thanks a lot. This game is so damn deep. I've been trying to learn what I can as I go either from trial and error, google, or asking on here. I took a chance on this game and it was worth it, I really like it!
Ok this game is awesome basically 4.5 stars.. I have a question though that might only be answered in the forums I accidentally push something on my iPad and like game locked up and then a huge map showed up like it was way bigger than the normal map with my guy was was like a red dot on it really small but not sure how I got there. Any ideas?
After you hit the map button and it zooms out, hold your finger on the screen and it zooms out even more with the red dot.
When your in the map view hold your finger, toe, nose or whatever you use to play on the screen for a few seconds and it zooms out further.
Stone tools are good enough to dig fairly deep on Terra. After a certain depth you will spot iron deposits. Use the iron ore with coal in a furnace to make ingots, and then make iron tools with those ingots. It's worth repeating that using the right tool on the right block will greatly accelerate your dig rate. Use a shovel for dirt and sand blocks. Use a pickaxe for breaking hard rocks.
If I but the iap craft book does it work on both the iPhone and iPad or do I need to buy it twice? Will this work with simple craft or only regular craft mode?
These bastards. I keep finding chests but don't have the required tools to bust them open, no idea if I'll ever manage to find these chests again on a future mining trip. I think I need a gold key, but it takes a lot of gold to make a key.
I'm in a similar situation! However, I'm definitely behind you since I am having challenges braking through some squares. I also run into not being able to open some Chet's due to keys or not having having the right tool
I was there last night, I had to stop mining cause my stone tools wouldn't break through the rocks any more. I figured out that I needed some iron and to build a forge. I did some more mining to find the iron and then crafted an iron pickaxe and an iron hammer and now I can cut through most barriers I come across. Mostly. So far!
This is strange, I've only been playing on iPod Touch and there's never been any music. I just copied my save file over and started playing on iPad for the first time and there's background music. I haven't changed any settings, just copied the save files directly with iFunbox and started the game.
I'm only sure on the last four, shoe is moving/walking speed, ladder is climbing speed, water is swimming speed, the other icon(?) I'm not sure about. Immunities are lava, acid, and infinite breathing underwater. Does anyone else know if gold sapphire ring has any additional effects (aside glowing bright)? I know gold ruby ring adds +1 heart AND immunity to lava. Topaz provides significant stat boost...
All IAPs are non-consumable and can be restored an arbitrary number of times as needed (the restore icon is a little obscure, it's the "refresh" button on the shop page). And even if you do try to buy it twice, so long as it's on the same Apple ID account, the store won't let you.
I have some questions, and it would really help if someone answered them: 1. Is there any use in the random loot i get from killing monsters? Like a brain from a zombie.. I see no use in them. 2. What is the ethereal ethence? 3. In the shop, what is the best hat to buy? Also, should I get the craftbook? Thanks Also, I just went mining for ages and i was killed by this soldier wearing gold armour. I then "quit" and all my stuff was gone are they going to fix this?
You should enable "Item Outlines" in the options: Red = weapon Gold = placeable object White = resource for crafting Blue = tool Green = consumable Grey = junk (although can be displayed on shelf/table/etc.) Purple = rare treasure Pink = equippable gear (armor or trinket) There is some overlap, i.e. some crafting ingredients are also placeable objects and vice versa, but the outlines will give you an indication what the items function is. The zombie brain has a grey outline, i.e. no function, so if you don't want to display it, you can trash it safely. Crafting ingredient. It's up to you. Functionally, everything you get from the IAP in this game is readily available in game. All the periodic drops from the hats are items found in the games, and all the bonuses of the hats are replicated by in-game gear you can find or craft. I'm partial to the mining helmet due to nostalgia from the first game and the light effect is handy. Craftbook is a similar deal. If you buy it, blammo, you will instantly know everything you can craft in the game, but if you just go about playing the game, the recipes drop all the time. I just completed my craft book after about a week of playing. There is nothing to fix. When you die, EVERYTHING in your bag is dropped on the ground. Currently you have 5 minutes to get back to it before it de-spawns (the timer will be increased in the next update) but if you exit that world, all temp objects go poof instantly whether the 5 minutes is up or not. Don't die or, if you must , store stuff in chests back home.
Yes, the Restore button is kind of obscure. I had to tap it once to see what it really was. I have some feedback regarding improvements to the Shop. On my first visit, I did not notice that there were multiple pages of IAPs. It was only when I read about helmets on these forums, that I went back and discovered the rest of the IAPs.
Same for me, didn't realize there were multiple pages till everyone was talking about hats I didn't remember seeing on there so went back and investigated closer.
Thanks for describing the items outline colors! Helpful. Does the mining hat allow for more automatic lighting so less need to always use torches?
