How do you till soil? I'm trying to plant a Grapevine Sprout but it won't let me without tilled soil.
I don't really understand the water physics. There is a large lake outside of my house and the water doesn't seem to move or do much of anything when I clear blocks in the surrounding area.
I bought terraria but gave up after 10 mins...just wasn't exciting for me and is my first foray into a minecraft type game. Is this one any different or is it basically just walking around and crafting materials? Thanks
If that's what you reduce the genre to, probably ought to skip it since JJX is even more aimless and open than Terraria. Likewise, since these games have learning curves that extend for days or more, if 10 minutes is all you can stand of one that does hold your hand at the beginning, safe bet you'd give up on this one to since it basically drops shoeless in the wilderness with a mostly empty guide book.
Could someone post a pic of a portal chest as it appears before you've collected it! I've been playing for ages and have yet to find one. Thanks.
Got some topaz! 8 pieces, in fact, on Seth, while digging a waterfall staircase down. The nice big caverns on Seth make the job easier than on Terra. Not to sound like a total newb, but how do I put it on my armor? I tried google but differentiating between "junk jack" and "junk jack x" results is a bit iffy at the moment. Anyone know what the Lucky Clover does? I've got 7 equipped on my accessory slot, but don't really notice much of a drop difference. I play on peaceful mode, so I don't get the stuff for many of the other accessories.
The original Junk Jack was my first attempt at a crafting game and it deffinitely took far longer than 10 minutes before I got a good feeling for the game and things started to click. Minecraft was similar but I still favor the 2D style crafting games over the 3D. Terraria iOS is my first time with the game and like you I wasn't digging it within the beginning 10-30 minutes but after that it started to really click and I'm really enjoying it. Basically what I'm saying is since you already dropped $5 on Terraria I suggest you devote more time to that first. If you can't get into that at all no sense in spending more on another game about crafting. I'm sure I'll likely spend more time with JJX but at $5 a piece I'll be playing them for well over a year. Wish they had some sort of iCloud save system as I have 4 different devices but oh well, I favor my iPad Mini so I guess it will be my dedicated crafting system. lol
Ahhh one peice away from Seth, this game is very satisfying, it draws me I. With the whole loot finding aspect. Love finding new recipes etc.
I've setup my new HQ up some ladders in the middle of a lake with a kind of floating HQ. My only problem is it seems to block off all the sun for the land underneath. How can I light it up? Placing torches I tried but nothing to attach them to.
Okay, so my house has three floors and I've made all that I've needed except the book shelf. In order to do that I need paper, but I can't find any Papyrus trees or Papyrus seeds. Does anyone know how to attain them?
