In each multiplayer game I connected to, there was an a***ole trying to kill me with a deep hole they dug. Anyone else encountered this problem
Get friends. Add me if you want: MidianGTX I don't have anything interesting built though, and you'd probably only be joining my mining world anyway...
Haven't found any gems yet. Do they spawn in Terra? I called it quits after finding my 3rd Serh piece last night.
Is a spawn point set by a bed supposed to remain even after the bed is removed? It kinda feels like cheating...
I just started this game and I dug deep down without a torch and now I'm stuck in the dark, how do I get out?
Is the problem the lack of light or needing a way to climb up? Usually you'd use the dirt you collected from digging to build your way back up, but if it's pitch black... you're gonna need a lot of guesswork.
Just switch out to a new world and gather some coal and dirt, then come back and make your way up... If you're attached to that world. Otherwise you could just start again in a new world.
Move on?Are u kiddin me? lol I'm not complaining cuz mobs are spawning in darkness, it's okay the way it is. I bought original JJ since it came out and the spawn rate wasn't like in JJX if u didn't realised it already^^ i just forgot about the darkness/mobs thing cuz JJ didn't got the 4" screen update and i didn't played it since then. But yeah...as dogx already said. The spawn rate definitely don't act like in JJ so there wasn't any reason too complain about it^^ Dunno about other planets cuz i didn't reach them as of yet. Seems like it's an Terra only problem.
All depends on your imagination. The game is open ended in its design. You start out a lone dude on a world where you have no possessions, no shelter, and no purpose but what you set. You gather resources, discover crafts, create weapons to defend yourself from mobs, build shelter, make a palace, make a swimming pool, whatever you come up with given the resources you have. Essentially, it's 2.5D Legos with monsters. Not really. Diabloesque games are built around the notion of endless gear pursuit to pursue more gear, and while there is a superficially similar gear progression initially, it's more different than similar. The "gear" pursuit is all around increasing your options to create. For example, when you start out, best you can do is punch some trees and make wooden objects. Eventually, though you can make gem encrusted armor, etc..
This game is incredibly addictive. I played it for 5 hours straight. A few bugs I've encountered: - iPad mini crashes when trying to join a multiplayer game - The person who I've been playing with in multiplayer ( Local multiplayer ), was invisible. He could see me, but I couldn't see him. If he opened a door, I could only see the door opening, but I couldn't see him.. - When it was nighttime in a multiplayer world on my device, it was still daytime on the device of my friend. He was at another place, so maybe that's why, so I'm not sure if this is a bug. Anyway, awesome game. My GOTY so far.
Thanks for the reply C.Hannum. I really prefer the aesthetics of JJX over Terraria, but I like that Terraria has 'quests'. Can you literally build anything as long as you have the resources and imagination? And what features DOES JJX have that Terraria DOESN'T?
Yeah but now that u have 3 Seth pieces you can got to Seth. Haha. It spawns there too. A bit more abundant, especially around biomes.
