Mithril, Antarium, Titatnium are super rare in Tera. It gets better when you get to Seth. The further you get into the game ( the next world ) the more abundant they are. I cheated and unlock all planet. I found out that you can start a new game in a different world, which you can mine and it'll save into your adventure game. So far I was mining in Magmar for a while and got 50 Antarium 70 Mithril 200+ gold. 30 + of each gems. In 1-2 hr session. Be careful with multiplayer. Lucky I had nothing in my inventory. I joined a game and quickly fell to my death by a trap set up by another player. Play with friends
Running into crashing on an iPad 3. If I try multiplayer and it doesn't connect, the game crashes when I try going back to single player.
The caverns on Seth are huge... but on the plus side, I'm seeing more gems now. A nice bit of ruby and some sapphire too. Still no Alba piece though -_-
I made a chest last night and put some of my best stuff into it, and when I came back this morning it was gone
Yeah there are some massive ones haha. I'm at two pieces right now. Hoping to find a third soon... So far I've dug down to the bedrock once then about halfway down I did a full loop, clearing every cave/dungeon along the way. Working on another loop a bit above the previous one now. It'll go a bit faster since it'll be going through some already explored caverns lol. I've had two mummy chest pieces drop which is cool I guess. They give unlimited air, so the same as a topaz gem and they're superior to gold.
They seem to get bigger. I'm on Alba and there are caverns that are larger than my iPad in zoomed out map view. The locals are less friendly as well. I'm really loving how different the planets feel. When I originally read about them I thought they'd mostly be about different textures, but that's not even close.
A good plan would be to only take items you're not attached to. I usually go with a few essentials and nothing else. I don't seem to drop anything equipped in the "action bar" when I die though, is that intentional? If so, that's a few more items you can keep safe.
Speaking of gems, which item did you encrust with Sapphire? Yeah, the planets allow for a greater number of unique biomes without being restricted to one map, given the RAM limitations on iDevices.
Oh man, manually moving your items is a pain in the ass. I didn´t read a thing, but it´ll be changed right?
Some gold pants haha. I'm currently wearing a blast helm, mummy top, gold pants and boots and the clover. Probably going to replace the clover soon for something more functional, though. I was wearing ruins set pants(same stats as gold) but I was planning to upgrade my boots to mithril and I didn't want to use a gem on a set item. I then ran into two mithril locked chests(and a third a bit later) and decided to hold off on upgrading my boots at the time lol...
Where are you moving them? There are some shortcuts... From inventory to chest: Tap the chest tab below your inventory to add everything you carry to existing stacks in the chest (won't fill empty slots). From crafting (including addons) to inventory: Tap crafting tab below your inventory to stack everything in the crafting pane in your inventory. Re-stacking in inventory: Tap an item and hold to gather nearby same items into a stack.
Loop two complete. Still no third Alba piece. Time for loop three! I did not know this one and I thank you so much for this lmao. Dumping things off just became so much faster.
I've replaced my Clover with Lucky Necklace, hopefully that's a step up on the drop boost. I also really want to use my Yellow Spider Necklace, just because it looks so cool! Which silver manufacts have you looted so far? The only one I've found is a Stunning. And just looted an Energizing copper one.
I've got an Amazing silver and an Astonishing gold manufact. I've also found a mummy and snake statue in Seth. I'm wondering if amethyst offers the same boost the clover does. If so I could upgrade my accessory and use an amethyst... Hidden boosts are a pain lol.
I started mining beneath lakes. You make a waterfall, and that way you can just swim back up. Don't have to bother with stairs or ladders. I have about a million questions, but here's one. I didn't see an option to name my character. It's just "player." Is there a way to name him, or do I have to delete him? And does that delete everything I've done in this world?
I usually just do alternating jumps with blocks to get up and down when necessary. There's risk involved if you fall, though, and slipping up is practically guaranteed to happen at some point haha. As for the rename, you would have to delete and remake it. Your worlds would be unaffected, but your craftbook would reset. Edit: Tools and armor have different boosts. Diamond gives +2% to all defenses on armor. Amethyst boosts power of tools but has no stat bonus or immunity on armor(so a hidden bonus of some sort). Ruby gives immunity to lava on armor and adds range to tools. Emerald gives immunity to acid on armor and increases knockback/occasionally breaks extra blocks on tools. Topaz gives infinite breath on armor and apparently boosts durability on tools. Sapphire glows on armor and tools, the effect doesn't stack though.
There should have been an option to name your character at the start. You probably missed it.. There's no way to rename without deleting. Make sure to store all you items, clothes etc in your world before deleting. Keep in mind though, deleting your player will also reset your craftbook...
That's pretty interesting, quite a bit of depth there. Thanks for the tips Also, what did you get from the Mithril locked chest, and did you need a Mithril hammer to break the chest? I've just found one but I'm wondering if making a key is a poor option.
