Can someone confirm whether items dropped on death persistently stay there even after switching worlds? I've died twice while mining very deep and in both cases when I trekked back to the location I found no items. I did however find 16 gold ore 5 tiles away from where I died the second time though :)

You are reading the descriptions incorrectly. When they say there are infinite worlds, they don't mean the worlds themselves are infinite in scope, they mean that you can create an infinite number of worlds to explore, which, while you could hypothetically do in the first, required either deletion of worlds once you were done with them or some futzing with moving and replacing the world files through iTunes. Now there is no upper limit and you will be able to keep dozens of worlds on your device at once if you want.

I'm not sure what their exact size is, but it's a LOT bigger than the first game.

There is a reason these are classified as sandbox games. Consider a sandbox: one person just sees some damn sand that's going to wind up in their underwear, another a place to dig pits and bury toy cars, another sees a place to build walls and forts, and yet another sees a place to sift through and look for interesting things.

If *you* don't have a goal, there is none. If that's boring to you, move along, the rest of us will be in the sandbox doing our thing :D

JJX and Terraria are now showing as New & Noteworthy in the US App Store. Terraria is the Editor's Choice.

There's a bug in the game while smelting copper. I had loads of copper and while smelting them the game crashed. Loaded up the game and lost all of the copper. Please fix this ASAP. This continually happens with my game. Also how do you get iron? Can't figure out how to mine stronger materials? Can't make copper pick axe without iron to make an avril.

Sort of an odd choice there. Yeah, it's a bigger brand, but that's only because it's on so many platforms already. JJ is an iOS only gem.

Eh, I don't think it's an odd choice. I bought both last night and it seems to me Terraria is the easy winner (though I'm looking forward to getting some multiplayer time down in JJX), so it makes sense to push a game with a proven track record and previous sales success.

I played Terraria on my Xbox-360 already so I am more interested in a new game like Junk Jack X. Will be downloading JJX tonight. How exactly does the multiplayer work? Will it be some weird server thing where you have to get another 3rd party app to find a game like with Minecraft PE or are games actively easy to find within the game?

The reason I like Terraria more is because there are bosses and I know that if I go to certain areas I can unlock certain things. I like sandbox games, but I am needing some guidance in this game. Can someone guide me on what to do please?

Terraria is better imo. I do not have Junk Jack X but I do have the first one and that one kind of bored me I would mess around for like 10 minutes than log off. Where as Terraria I played for an 1hr and 30 minutes straight before I had to make my self log off lol. The only thing making me want to buy Junk Jack X is the multiplayer but I bet Terraria will get multiplayer soon than there won't even be a competition. This is just my opinion.

It uses GameCenter, starting a game is pretty easy.

No - but if you have a computer handy, you can swap worlds around using iTunes File Sharing. (something I wish more games did)

Elaborate a bit more? And I do. Just nice for when I have downtime at work.
