Nope, reread yours. This phase should last 2-3 weeks. Then they will recruit the second tier. Did you not read the whole thing?
I did. Your quote wasn't actually from the email so I got confused with what you were saying but I still don't understand where you see they will then get the second round for more testing after the 2-3 week period. Did they say that somewhere? I know they mentioned they were pushing back release until mid - end october which is why I'm assuming the 2-3 weeks is saying 2-3 weeks, then the game comes out. Which led me to the conclusion that "thanks for your support in these months" was in regards to us helping them finish the game, assuming the have us test later builds with addons like the water or whatever else they're planning to add. Could be wrong though. I guess we'll wait and see
Are you serious? 2-3 weeks, and then another group for another 2-3 weeks? Come on. It's an iPhone app, it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect when it's released. That's what updates are for. I wouldn't really care if they didn't already tell us it was going to be out in September. Now then end of October/ November?! Come on now.
Lol, calm down. If you're not willing to wait for the game, then don't buy it. And I agree it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect when it's released but they will try to make it the best they can when it's released. Updates are for improving the game and releasing new content. Developers don't rush the game out with bugs and say "Oh yeah, we'll just release it with all those bugs/glitches and then after its released, we'll fix them!" Lol, nobody does that!!
Thank you backtothis, I suppose no one else has ever beta tested, this is why I stated that, because most beta's have those NDA's. No I didn't sign up for the beta, I was just guessing, but it's funny how many of you are so immature about it.
It never fails. It doesn't matter what forum I'm reading. There's always people bitching at each other over trivial crap. Safe behind their monitors in their parents basements. None of you would ever treat each other this way if you were facing the person. So cut the false bravado and treat each other accordingly. We're all excited for the game to come out. No need for the other shit.
Well we had finished "bitching" about it, and I was thanking someone, but if you don't like it you can leave, I have no idea why you made an account if your going to complain about this forum. (wait I do...)
Are they giving it a week before the beta so that that people who havent gotten the email yet, can get it?
Well the game is out. It's kind of hard to learn how to play, basically I've been learning how to move about and how we're supposed to move around in the dark dark caves with only one torch every once in a while that we can't dig with when equipped....
Thank you so much for your kind and well thought out response Teh Ninja. I was merely commenting on forums and users in general across the entire internet. Nowhere did I mention you specifically at all. Have yourself a sparkling evening. You are both a gentleman and a scholar.
ok, we managed to start it somehow it's still long the way to balance everything but with much feedback we'll try to do our best! we're opening a forum to discuss everything, either related to bugs, hud, controls, balancing or whatever!
This is exactly what we need to know, eg: would u let Jack have a native light? or consider a torch as a bare hand? (range 1, low power)
Haha awesome. So any estimates as to when the second tranche will be let in? Kinda disappointed that I didn't get in the first round. You could be able to craft a head lamp.
I'm going out in 10 minutes so I'll leave a brief review. Been playing with it for the last... hour or so? I'm loving it! You start off with nothing and no idea what to do. Figured out how to move (just slide your finger side to side w/ auto jumps). Quite easy and fluid once you understand that. Just tap to destroy blocks. When blocks are equipped you just tap to place. Hidden all around in the dirt, sand, trees, are little notes which give you hints of what to do, mini-tutorials, a couple crafting recipes. Also hidden around are little wooden blocks which contain various things, little metal doors give you pills, pots give you jewels and broken glass, treasure chests which have fun supplies in them. Trees give you fruit to heal hearts. So far enemies I've encountered have been spiders (looks like there are two different kinds) and the skulls. If they take a heart away you can't get your hearts back by eating fruit. If you respawn you lose a few things (looks to be random from what I can tell.) For anyone who has played minecraft before it's very similar as far as the objective goes. But note to users that shovels, axes, pickaxes, etc are not exactly constructed in the same way so you can't use those guides for this game. Only one crash so far but can't replicate it. The only frustrating part is I can't figure out how to mine any rocks? The pickaxe is sucking right now. Or I'm sucking. One of the two For the non-testers this game is well worth the wait G'night all
Crafting a headlamp would be really cool, at least cooler then having a natural glow. But it'd be cool if the light can go forward two spaces and then only 1 or .5 behind you
