This is definitely an underpriced game. Super high quality. The comparisons to Soul Knight and Enter the Gungeon were spot on. I love the bright art style.
@mastery51 Currently XD Network is working on a new Torchlight franchise. Maybe they want to build trust. 1.99$ at launch is so under priced.
Just purchased, I’ve popped into the thread a bit but didn’t really check the game out as I thought it was a weird name and a weird game but I love dual stick shooters! I really didn’t realise what it was, although the trailer has some poor English but I guess being twin stick it doesn’t have all that much text anyway? I was pretty sold after seeing what kind of game it was and then the comments here on how good the launch price is for what you get sold me.
I’m also liking that when you clear your first game it unlocks 3 challenge options in the bottom right area of the character zone. Enemies can have 50% more health, all Enemy bullets move in a serpentine pattern or If you get damaged your movement slows. You can Play any order of challenges or all three.
Fantastic game. Haven't unlocked new characters yet. Do they have different abilities? What's everyone's favorite weapon?
Yes they have a different abilities, and dont forget to upgrade your character by working out (permanent upgrade) My Favorite weapon is gatling gun and something like bass gun (forget the name)
I’ll have to look that one up. It’s a great game! Finished once with PonPon last night. I can tell from all the weapons and different character’s abilities (not to mention all the modes that unlock after finishing) that there’s a ton of replay value here. Do you mean the one that looks like a trumpet? That’s one of the two weapons I finished the game with. I liked it so much I didn’t exchange it for anything the rest of the run. Can’t wait to try out some of the melee weapons.
I think she is what you mean right? I highly recommend using her for those who want an easier run (if you are lucky enough to get her), because she is just so powerful, switching 2 mode to deal both close and long enemies is really amazing!
I've been so on the fence with this game. I looked it up on Steam and felt the reviews were rather mixed. Maybe it was too short or too easy? Or people didn't feel it offered enough? I hope those aren't true. It sucks when you want to buy everything new on the app store but you don't have the money for it
A reviewer in the german App store complained about excessive heat on his device. What are your experiences?
It’s on excessive but yes, it is noticeable, at least on my iPhone X (FW 13.4.1). The heat and battery drain increases as you play longer. Like 20-30 minutes and beyond.
