I am sorry that I am not fluent in Japanese. Recently, interesting games have been released in the Japanese App Store. I hope they do not stop with the Japanese App Store domestic game.

Is this an online only social game? Or is it something with an actual campaign and story?

i was semi-hoping there would be an english option considering the game was released in english on psp.

also my favorite valkyrie profile is on the nintendo ds. it's called "covenant of the plume" and is one of the most challenging and fulfilling turn based strategy games made. and the story is the most adult/gothic/brilliant i have ever played in a game. i still remember nabbing it for 5 whole bucks from a reseller on amazon. legit copy, with booklet still inside. they did not know the quality of the game inside the little cartridge smmfh.

It's a port of the PSP port of the seminal PS One JRPG Valkyrie Profile.

    It's not a new game.

There is another game with the same worldview. VALKYRIE ANATOMIA.
This is an online only social game.

Perhaps SQUARE ENIX have launched a paid game(VALKYRIE PROFILE) this time to promote the game(VALKYRIE ANATOMIA).

But premium games are always welcome.

    VALKYRIE ANATOMIA(ヴァルキリーアナトミア)

This is a premium game? Damn if they ever released it in English I would buy it without question.

I already know about it. It means that this premium game(VALKYRIE PROFILE) will be used to promote existing games. It is one of the promotion methods often used in Japan's media mix. With this premium release(VALKYRIE PROFILE), the game(VALKYRIE ANATOMIA) will catch users who have already left or keep existing users. And, thanks to this paid game(VALKYRIE PROFILE), the F2P game(VALKYRIE ANATOMIA) can expect new users.

    This game is awesome!
I get a romancing SaGa vibe with it and the platforming 2D dungeon gameplay is excellent and different
I have a lot to learn having never played it before but it will be a fun experience :)

Have a good time! I envy you to enjoy it first.:)

Some users have already seen Ending B. :p
But Ending A is not easy. It takes a lot of effort to get the fruit of the truth.;)

And there is a dungeon specially prepared to follow after the ending! It's really nice. Awareness of challenge!

If you enjoy it properly, its playing time will be over 30 hours. :D

Thanks I was very curious about the play time
I’m a big fan of final fantasy and dragon quest and love long playthroughs so I am glad to hear that
It’s no cakewalk that’s for sure! You can choose easy, normal and hard... I’m on normal ha I may regret that soon and have to go to easy ha

Wonder if there’s any hope of an English release in the West?

    ‘Wait and Hope’

Square Enix can not miss this. Because the past version of this game had been released in English. However, the timing was not decided.

There is an English version from the past that gives it some hope for sure. Mostly people will just complain about the price probably. That's the sad truth.
When Romancing SaGa 2 came out in japan i bought it that day, then an English version was released later and I bought it too.. I could see myself buying this game twice if they release an English version.

Square Enix has to give users the choice of language in the game options. They are capable enough to realize it. Or Apple needs to authorize iOS to allow users to patch the language. It was possible on iOS 10.

Do you have any e-mails with Square Enix? Does Square Enix really care about the reply to the user? Or does Square Enix only provide a mechanical macro response that is not helpful?

I would like to ask Square Enix about global releases and supported languages. But I guess I will probably get no reply or meaningless reply from Square Enix.

Have you ever had a meaningful exchange of opinions with Square Enix, even if this is not the this game?
