Is it fundamentally the same text/story as the 80s gamebook(s)? Seem to recall buying the first one on Kindle, and I played through a number of them back in the day.
Played for about an hour. The presentation is very slick. Dare I say much more than Tinman Games. Though I love those. The combat sequences are amazing and reasonably hard from the get go, though you get a chance to try it again with lesser difficulty if you die but with much reduced rewards. I'm super impressed so far but am torn with leaving while I carry on with Oceanhorn. We are spoiled this year with many console quality titles released. WHQ, FS, XCOM EU, Sorcery and now Sorcery 2 plus Battle of the Bulge. All worthy of a full blown console experience. Yeah I know there are loads more but some of my favs this year. Finally props up to the developers for charging a fair price for awesome titles. Die freemium die.
Haha of all the releases that just dropped this is the one I wanted most, the others I said I would wait for and of course, this is the one that isnt showing!!! Gamer problems
Haha, first world gamer problems, even! I was going to make some questionable joke, but then I realized that at this moment, there are people in the Philippines trying to find the smallest piece of their home, while we sit impatient to get a game. =\ I'm today's Debbie Downer, it seems!
Blargh, that's not even working for me. I tired the old trick of searching the publisher name, but no go. I know that some random time portal will open and I'll be able to download it, but until then I will stomp and whine until it is so
Is it just me or is this one of the most stupid annoying games ever? Nice graphics but god is it annoying! I keep dying in the first few battles because I don't know what the hells going on! Also it has one of the most stupid turn based nonsense I've ever seen I'm attacked by three beasts and get slaughtered every time. I'm not new to games but this takes some getting used to. If I wanted to read I'd've gotten a book not a game! It's going to get deleted soon!
Did you actually read ANYTHING about the game? It's an interactive gamebook It's good now, happened across it via the Bulkypix app list a few seconds ago.
How many acts are there and how long is the entire game? Somehow I got the impression that new content will be pushed weekly? (from some interview I think) BTW I owned all 20 gamebooks of the original storyline... I wondered where I stored them now
