My thoughts exactly. This game is easily one of the best mobile games that I played. Once you get familiar with it, it isn't hard at all. It's actually easy, but you need to be patient. Max out all of Lone Wolf skills and equipments, have a clear strategy are things that I recommend.
Omg this game just gets more and more amazing. It will grab you and before you know it a few hours have gone by! Sooooooo immersive.
Wait something is wrong as I bought all the chapters possible but its saying I need tomupdate the app and it takes me to the app store? I cant play any further, I thought there was a lot more or is that it? Can anyone help? EDIT: Ok well something interesting has happened. It looks like somehow I never bought or played act 2 despite loving the game. Anyways I just finished act 1 and bought the mid season pass which is for act 3 & 4. But without realizing it I now have a missing act which is 2. Only thing I found I can do is delete the game and re download which then lets me buy the whole season pass which includes chapter 2. I guess I need to ask for a refund on the mid season pass, not sure why it would let you buy act 3 & 4 without even owning act 2 though.... EDIT 2: Forge reply where are you!
I deleted the app and re installed. Then I buy all chapters again, and iCloud load, and I can play. However, when I close the app, and restart it, it gives me the same screen saying I need to update again! So to play the game I have to delete it, re load it, re buy the chapters (at least they are free after I bought it once lol) and then load my cloud save and THEN I can play. Whew! Forge reply where are you??
Well are you positive you have bought the chapter you need in order to proceed? That was my issue, I bought 3 & 4 somehow before 2.
Hey, you guys! Could you share your character build, reason, your fighting habit and experience, please? I'd love to hear them all.
I have a dual wielding axe Kai-user build. The reason why my build is so Kai focused is because a lot of the decisions I made in the story seemed skewed in the advantage of either those who chose the intelligent route or the dexterous route. The strength route more often then not puts you in a disadvantage when it comes to Giaks. My decisions have highly raised my intelligence way more then my dexterity, thus my high Kai focus. I still use my axes in battle, but not before I summon my wolf and heal if necessary. Going to try out maces next, and swords if I can find some that are strong enough.
I use an axe and shield. I usually start battles by unleashing a Sommersword attack, then if I have enough MP, I call my wolf. After that, I do two regular attacks and then shield block. If any enemies are down to their last little bit of life, I throwing dagger them to death. Serves me very well.
The review will be updated soon with my thoughts on act 3. I'll just say that while I haven't had any issues with the game recognizing my purchases/update like some have had here, I did have a few crashes and odd glitches that were not present in previous versions of the game.
Thanks for sharing, guys! Much appreciated. My Lone Wolf is Kai focused, too. The reason is simple. It's here: Please look at the Elixir of Volko. Why isn't it "Increases intelligent by 20 for 10 seconds"? Isn't that because you will be too powerful? And Kai power is always the lowest of the three power bars at the beginning of the game, no matter what you choose. Why? I think those are hints from the developer that Intelligent and Kai power are the most dangerous attributes. ;-) Interesting! I usually start battles by unleasing a Sommerswerd skill, too (Rising Sun). I think it's even better than Sun Storm, because it also "tie up" the enemies. After that, I use Camouflage, hit them until my Endurance runs out. If there's a powerful enemy in the group, I use throwing knives instead, then Healing to hit it again, and then Wolf's Resilience to counter any attack. Not many enemies can stand after that. I can do many things in one turn because my Intelligent and Kai power is high, of course. Here's my Lone Wolf, right before the fight with Redfang: In Act 3, I managed to rise my Intelligent to over 50, and I can kill some Giaks with a single Sommerswerd attack (the weakest type, which doesn't wear armor. They have only 1600 Vitality) if it's a critical hit. I always finish random battles by using Healing to recover my Vitality and Endurance before dealing the final blow to the last enemy, and then execute it (tapping on the wolf head) to recover my Kai power. It's really a piece of cake.
We're aware of the issue and we're working to fix it. Unfortunately there isn't any workaround at the moment. A new version of the game will be submitted to Apple soon. That's really strange as you can't buy the Mid-Season Pass without owning the Act 2. Wondering how you did that You should be able to fix the issue buying the Act 2, as you seems to have all the other Acts.
iPhone 5S, latest iOS. UI elements were stuttering or failing to clear off the screen. The crashes were fairly consistent in that they happened when I used throwing knives to kill one of the new enemies. The framerate would suddenly stall, freeze, then dump me out to the home screen. Happened three or four times on one playthrough of Act 3, but it didn't happen every time.
Mr Mazzega, may I ask you some questions, please? 1) Will Animal Kinship still be available in Act 4? 2) In Act 3, can Lone Wolf meet Vordaks in random battles while wandering on the map? Thank you.
Do not buy if you have a galaxy tab device. Here's a note from Mr Mazzega. I'm kinda chafed that this is even available to purchase for my device ----- Hello Chris and thanks for your interest in our game, unfortunately were encountering some issues with the Tab family of the Samsung tablets. Those devices have an amount of RAM that is shared with the operating system and Android uses a lot of megabytes. Thats why when the memory is over, the game crashes. Were working to optimise the game but we cant be sure that the game is ever going to run without problems. Apologies for the issue. I actually have the full season pass and bought it prior to finishing Act 1, so there is no issue, Lol.
That's really strange. You were playing the custom version for journalists, right? In the meantime we improved the game and fixed some last minute issues but we never experienced UI related problems.
