Thank you for your information, Mr Mazzega. [emoji4] If you don't mind, I'd like to ask one more question: Does higher Intelligent affect the damage of Lone Wolf's Sommerswerd skills? And here's my Lone Wolf build that I want to share with everybody here. Any response would be appreciated. Weapon: Sword. Reason of choice: Has lowest cooldown and Endurance cost --> more hits. Kai Disciplines: - Healing: Fill both your Vitality and Endurance immediately --> very useful for another series of attacks when your Endurance runs out. - Mind over Matter: Can be used for attacking (throw objects at the enemy) and defending (throw enemy to the ground, useful when you need another Wolf's Resilience. Use it on the strongest enemy). - Camouflage: Great in both attacking (the critical hits are useful when you want to finish off an enemy quickly) and defending (dodge all of the enemies attacks. You have to do it manually, but it's a piece of cake). - Animal Kinship: Well, Weapon Mastery is good, too, but I think it overlaps Camouflage, and the wolf's bites are undodgeable/unblockable. And, finally, my Lone Wolf is Intelligent-Dexterity oriented (2 Intelligent-1 Dexterity-0 Strength each time Lone Wolf "level up" at the end of each Chapter), because I think Intelligent/Kai power is the most dangerous attribute. (There are some hints from the developers about that.)
Thanks. Well, with this setup, I can kill Redfang in my first turn. And more important, I can finish almost every battle with my Vitality and Kai power bar full without using any potion. I have just watched the Act 3 trailer again. One of that seems to be the ability to drain Lone Wolf of his Kai power. [emoji32]
Just before the launch, we updated the game website with a new skin for the Act 3. Starring: the deadly Vordak! http://lonewolfthegame.com
Ha! The update is indeed out due to the New Zealand timezone! But I can't stop our countdown anyway, even if yesterday I forgot to post the banner
That screenshot is probably taken from the development tool so the health bar and it's value is not accurate
A new combat system? We improved it a lot but it can't be considered as new. We tweaked it, balanced the difficulty levels, added new offensive and defensive skills (did you see the dual wielding defensive stance?) and improved variety. Moreover, many of these improvements are also spread throughout the game and are not only tied to the latest Act.
Act 3 launch day! We celebrate it with the usual banner... ... and lowering the price of the Act 1! You can now download the app for free (as Jared already noticed. Thanks for the homepage post, much appreciated).
Not sure if it's just me but I can't play my saved game. Keep getting the screen that says I need to update .. But I already have updated! So I have to start all over again from the beginning.. Brutal. I get the option to go to App Store or main menu. Tony
same problem here to. keeps saying, that i need to update, but i already updated to the recent version.
I am so happy to see this new chapter being released. The last time I played the game it didnt support iCloud, so Im starting to play again. It feels much more polished than when it was first released (and a bit easier too... it felt almost impossible to complete chapter one compared with now).
I cannot believe how good this game is. The choose your own storybook aspect leaves room for many interpretations, but the actual combat, wow is it awesome. I spent a good 10 hours on Act 1 grinding mats to max out my gear. I gotta admit, like Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS, it is very difficult at the beginning. But after the first few battles, when you get access to roam the map freely to do battle and then eventually unlock the shop, you get a better understanding of the combat system, and get better gear and mats to upgrade said gear. After that, the difficulty curve is gone, and the fun begins. I also like the way the Lone Wolf looks. He reminds me of a hybrid of the assasins from Assasin's Creed (Altair, Ezio, Connor, Edward, etc) and Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher. I just started Act 2, and can't wait to see what it has in store.
