It's great to hear that, as the translation in five languages was not a simple task to achieve, with the amount of text included in the game.

    Thanks for your support!

The update works a lot better than the original version. The loading times on my 5th gen Touch is better. If you're able to tweak them more, it wouldn't hurt.

I'm having issues with the first battle I'm encountering in the second part. I decided to go towards the Sheriff's office, and either during, or immediately after the battle, before it get's back to the book, the app crashes.

Please, try to close all the background apps and reboot your device before launching the game.

Do you still experience that crash?

    Thanks.

That worked. I know I shut it down once or twice before I posted. I don't think I closed all the other apps, though. Thanks!

    Glad to hear that!

Just another questions: do you have iOS 7 installed?

I really loved the first chapter, it is one of my favorite iOS apps. This leads me to my next question... Any estimate what month the second chapter will come out? Don't want to rush you all, just curious.

We're working super hard on the Act 2 but we don't have a release date to announce yet.

It will be definitely published in the first quarter of this year!

Awesome! Like I said don't rush yourselves, I'd rather wait for a super awesome experience than have a great experience tomorrow. Thanks for all of your hard work!

I do have one of question though, but I understand if you do not want to answer it. Would you guys consider the first chapter successful sales wise? Like did you guys sell as much as you wanted to?

Thanks to you for your support!

I'd love to share more details with the TA community but honestly I can't talk about sales now.
    Hope you can understand.

No problem, I was just hoping everything went well. I really loved this app and could tell a lot of effort was put in it. Hopefully you guys got the sales you deserve and continue to gain more.

This is the only part that I can comment :)

Yes, you're right: we worked very hard on this game and we think that we added something new to the digital gamebook formula.
We also think that the value of the game can be perceived by the quality of the assets, both 2D in the book and 3D in the combat mode, and by the attention to the details.

Glad to hear that you appreciated it!

The first time I played it I was like Wow! The book is part is nicely done, and I like how you could switch through the fonts. The artwork was cool, some of it was even animated. I noticed that some of the artwork was re used multiple times... But no biggie. Then the parts where you could choose how to handle a situation was neat. Then when you picked a lock or got in a fight... It was so amazing. Not sure if you can tell but I really loved this game :p

I don't know if you guys plan on making other games or books after this, but you have at least one buyer ; )

I really want to thank your company for putting so much work into this. It is one of the most memorable apps I have played. I would put this up there with Infinity blade 2. It's so amazing and your company is so nice and supportive. Also, you guys are active and listen to feedback... Like removing that page reminder sound. Anyways, thank you so much.

    We honestly hope so!

Thanks, it's an honour to be compared to one of the best iOS games out there like Infinity Blade 2.

Hey, I was wondering if some time you guys could give an update on what you're working on and how it's going? I don't mean to rush you guys, just curious. Thanks!

The Act 2 is shaping up pretty nicely and it will be a good improvement over the Act 1.

We're not ready to share some assets yet but more details are coming, so keep following us :)

can someone clue me in as to what the 'acts' are? are they additional books? or are these all still going on the first book?

oh, and while taste is subjective, to me, comparing this game to infinity blade 2 is like comparing cake to a pile of scat wrapped in a beautiful christmas box with a bow on top. yeah, completely different games, i realize that, but one is obviously a work of love, and the other is a formula for milking kids.

You are clueless about Infinity Blade, aren't you? Neither it nor this game is a formula for milking kids. Don't say stupid things because you have preconceived ideas about something.
Every IB is f deep if you understand what you are doing, with a good storyline if you care to understand what the hell is going on. But yeah, it has IAP. Obvious greedy devs. milking idiots is obvious. :):):):):):):)

The acts are like extra chapters that will be added to the same app. So you won't have multiple apps, they will all be in the same place. Think of the Walking Dead game and how there episodes work.

Also, I did not really compare the two games. I just said that this app was up there on my personal list with infinity blade 2 because both of those games are the most memorable apps I have experienced on iOS. Sorry if you didn't like IB2 but I did. Also, the game could very easily be completed without IAPs. They only speed up the process. It's like waiting in line to pay for a product. You can either wait 2 minutes or pay everyone in front of you to skip ahead of them so you don't have to wait.
