Sorry for not keeping you updated guys! The game is over all deadlines and over the budget, but not dead. Although some of us work on other projects the development of Joan is not paused or stopped (definitely not dead). A dedicated part of our team is working on it and, good news, we finally found how to make it interesting as a challenging game (not just as an art and graphics) and decided to make it free (ad supported with an option to turn off ads). Have a look at the Laser Net gameplay footage: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Finally, the beta test for Joan Mad Run is to be launched soon. We'll use the new Test Flight option allowing up to 1000 beta testers. So, stay tuned and join now the beta test of our another upcoming game Cube Koala: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=254880 P.S. And, just in case you've missed it, enjoy the Joans laser net gameplay footage (above).
Had totally forgotten about this game and figured I'd check in. Really, really, really hope this is still in the works. Would be happy to test flight it if it would help wrap up things so the game can push to release (wink wink)
I wrote an email to the dev asking if he was still working on the game. This was the response: ""Hi! It under active development ATM - planning to send it to Apple for review in 4 weeks. Best regards, Paully.""
Why RIP? New devices and new iOS support and some technical issues require more work on it. It's in progress, yet, obviusly, not this year, but, hopefully, early next year
Finally, the build is submitted for Apple review with an approximate release date in about two weeks =)
Great news on a Friday! Can't wait. Will there be an IAP for a "full unlock" or something along those lines? Looks amazing.
