Sweet! Can't wait! I don't have any iOS 7 controllers and/or something to do AirPlay... Yes I have, but those are first person shooters. Having the damage also show on her face would help.
So, guys, we are discussing in the team that it would be great instead messing up with beta builds to release a shortened free Joan version into the public on the App Store (of course, without any IAP) - so, anyone could download it - like in about 2 weeks or so. We think of some really hardcore gameplay. A hardcore mode. Very difficult to beat according to the current iOS gaming trend. You will be really angry playing it, but will return again and again, and again. And, of course, you'll be waiting for the full game with all the levels and all guns. Let me know what do you think?
As long as it's still possible to 'beat' it. Otherwise, really angry will mean never coming back instead of trying again. I think it's going to be a great game, whichever path you choose. I'd hate to see some ,angry' players leaving some bad reviews causing loss of sales on the full game. Wether it's beta or a shortened free version. I'd be interested in either. - Lavender
squashy got the mini-game idea. The hardcore level of difficulty. And yes, it's inspirded a bit by Flappy Birds but it won't be just a Flappy Joan
Will this be upgraded to the full game in the future or staying as a seperate "lite yet insanely hard" app?
It'll stay separate - as the main game will have a different gameplay mode - there will be not so hard modes. In the free demo we will put a new character, not the Joan. And it'll have little different weapons and a new level, which probably won't be in final Joan.
And this is now seems to be the only possible way to have your hand on the beta, becuase test flight is no longer working with consumer iOS devices - somehow it is only possible to install via TF only on iOS devices that were enabled for development using Xcode and a valid Apple IDP developer account.
