Hoping for an update to fix the bug soon Started over 3 times but will not stop playing. Love this game and love HalfBrick!!
I start to play this game last week and now i got 28 achievements... so afraid of this bug @_@. Hope the fix come with new stuffs. Now i never let my battery run out, and never turn off the device.
For me, I probably would've kept on playing into the horizon, but I lost some of my drive when the glitch hit me. Of course, the stuff got restored (and I'm thankful for that), but I just don't have as much fun with it as I used to.
Badge #s Anybody know what the numbers under the badge achievements means? I'm talking about the end badge you get when completing all the missions.

Pretty good game, been playing this and Blade Dash a fair bit. Thought the gravity guy include was a nice touch.
The fix is in QA right now, infact! It's super tricky to solve, as it is very unreliable to reproduce (some days we will have 5 guys playing for a full day, on 5 different devices with 5 different OS's, and the game wont crash or lose save once!), but hopefully this current release candidate we have right now is the one!
level reset glitch ive read about it happening to alot of people but i was playing and i went through a zapper without dying then five seconds later the screen went black and restarted the run. i didnt think anything of it, just thought it was a late reaction to the death but then whne i checked my mission they were the original ones. so i went to my profile and found that my level, highscores, mission progress and achievements had been reset but my equipment and coins were intact. Its a shame too because this was definatly my top rated game. I had had it for about a week and had logged like 6 hours. i was level 43 and only had a few achievements left, but at this point, unless they can find a way to get my progress back, i think im done with this game anyway, just wated to vent to some people going through the same thing. hopefully they fix it, i plan to stay updated so if there are any more updates please post on the thread! thanks (ps. read the news that they are currently thinking of a way to fix it, hope its true, id be very grateful)
All my stats got resetted but my items and coins remain I encountered the same problem as you did today, I exited the game right after I cashed in all my stars from completing Barry and when I went back to indulge my addiction to the game I was greeted with 'new achievements' that I already unlocked in the past and my level was reset back to 1! I was shocked and rather disappointed even though I still had all my items and coins. I was hoping if you had a new update on your experience like maybe getting your stats back. Game center still has my highest distance record and my achievements but I no longer have any badges
did you figure out why jetpack joyride reset? it did the same thing to me. did you call halfbrick?? i plan on calling tomorrow.
Well this happened to me a week or so before Christmas and I think all of the team were on a break. They came back couple of days after the new year. All I did was send an email to the support team - James. Never occurred to me to call them but if u do let me know how it goes? I've been in the dark on the matter and simply waiting. I dont know more about this than any other person who read this thread. I'm waiting to see if it gets fixed for me and others in the next update. It would be almost impossible for me to start over to reach the level I was on. However, as Muscat has said the problem has been acknowledged so its up to them now. I can only hope.
Ahhhh to be young again and have my day 'ruined' just because a game reset my score. You'll be very angry in the future then when someone hits your car or you lose your job or have an argument with your girlfriend ! Its not the end of the world !
