I really don't like how I have to buy a powerup with my hard earned coins just to get a star. Please get rid of those missions. I honestly really hate business models like this where coins are hard to earn, yet still attainable...I'd rather pay a premium price for everything, but then again, freemium (well not really "free" in this case) pays.
The missions are a fun addition, but the fact that they are so limited and repeat themselves is a bit of a disappointment; will we be seeing more missions, or a random mission generator later on?
Anyone know how to get the "GOOD WORK, WOODY" achievement. It entails the following: Run into the bottom obstacle 3 times in a row. I'm on my second play through and still don't know what to do!
Maybe run into the most bottom shock-barrier 3 runs in a row? Let me try it... hang on! EDIT: Easy as pie... when the round starts, DO NOT USE THE JETPACK! Let poor Barry run, run, run, and slam into the first shock barrier on the bottom. The achievement will NOT count if you boost yourself to get coins, etc... prior to the first barrier.
I don't understand why everyone is gushing over this game. The actual obstacles look dull and the rest is mostly cosmetic/just gambling. Take a look at Balloon Trip from 27 years ago. OK it's a lot slower but the level design was actually more interesting back then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAP3tV5CdEM Us iPhone gamers should raise our standards a bit! Who's with me!? *tumbleweed* Aiight whatever lol
It's easy to rack up the number of coins you need if you think playing the game is fun. And if you don't, then it's probably better to just stop. Couldn't it say something like Bad A*s, or more cartoonishly, Bad#$!, etc.? "Bad As Hog" doesn't really make sense.
What do you mean by that? I use it to teleport through those zappers. This game is truly legendary. If ManaCraft comes out this year, than that will be my game of the year, but if it doesn't come out, this is my game of the year.
It does if you're from NZ or Australia (as the developers are), but it's probably not a colloquialism that would be recognised elsewhere.
Just got this game. Played it for about 30 min. So far it's a lot of fun. Starts out at a nice pace then picks up speed. Sometimes it's too fast for me especially with the vehicles. But nothing frustrating. I like completing missions so they are fun to do. The slot machine is a nice addition to the game after you die. For now it's a fun game to play. We shall see how long b4 it gets to repetitive or if it even will. If they add new levels, vehicles, jet packs, etc Every few months or so it shouldn't get boring. $1 well spent
Huh, oh yeah. I totally didn't think of that! Sometimes I forget that we have different expressions to the rest of the world (like when I go to the US and ask for chips with my steaks, and everyone gives me a weird look...)
Do you think you guys can make a game mode, that only has a certain vehicle?By the way my favorite vehicle is the profit bird.
I like it the least... probably because it makes the screen scroll the fastest and gives you the least amount of control/predictability possible of all vehicles. My favorite vehicles, ranked from favorite to least-favorite: 1. Teleporter 2. Profit Bird 3. Stomper 4. Gravity Guy 5. "Bad As Hog"
Kudos Kudos Luke and Co, Great game. The achievements etc are leading me along by the nose and I'm finding it difficult not to play it at work so I can get more coins. I'm sure you'll add a whole bunch more achievements into the game in future updates which will keep me playing. Cheers, Scott.
