Can someone answer a couple store questions? 1) Aside from the one-use utility items and the magnets, does anything actually affect gameplay? 2) How do the magnets work? Thanks.
1) Nope, nothing but magnets and utilities. 2) When coins are in a certain radius of you, there are visual affects and coins go towards you.
I've just had the same problem... I still have all my items but the stats are reset to 0.... There goes my motivation to gets all prestige badges...
Wait, wtf, I just had this problem, too. My game reset to level 1 and I lost all my scores, achievements, and badges. But I kept all my coins, vehicles, and jetpacks. What gives?
Same here. I lost all of my stats, money and unlocks. I was leve 58 and had all magnets, a load of gold vehicles and a load of jetpacks and clothes. Unless if there's a way to get stuff back I'm sad to say I'm done.

So I emailed them last week and tons of people have posted here with no response. I haven't played this game ever since the glitch happened. (All my stats and achievements disappeared while coins and purchased items remained intact.)
Does anyone know what the ''M'' button does? Also I downloaded 250,000 coins for 5.00$ on my iPhone. But why cant I also download 250,000 coins for free to my sisters iphone since we use the same Apple ID?
The M button is there to show you how far your friends got. There will be a marker that shows you how far they got. It's because that's not an IAP like the Counterfeit Machine. The Counterfeit Machine's use is unlimited, so that's pretty much it. The coins need to be bought with an extra $5, because people could just easily get more and more coins for free after paying the amount of money needed. Sorry if this didn't make sense.

Another victim of the bug: All of my unlocks are gone, so is the money. My stats are still there, though. What was weird: This happened after my phone (iP4, latest update, no jailbreak) mysteriously switched off. I went to bed when it was more than half full, the next morning I couldn't switch it on - the battery was completely drained, for whatever reason. Maybe this helps in some way.
My problem occurred when I was playing monopoly (when it was free to download) after i tried it, i opened jetpack and it took a while to load (longer than usual). after it loaded i got all these achievements unlocked that i unlocked a long time ago. so i checked my stash and profile and bam everything reset to zero. still got all the clothing, upgrades, jetpacks and coins. I just want closure if halfbrick can fix it or not. been over a week since. oh and whos the new hacker on the total distance leaderboard? lol
I don't know if it is relevant but I also was playing the free version of monopoly at the same time this issue arose.
Ugh. Where's Halfbrick? This bug is rampant and severely damaging to our gameplay so it's kind of surprising they've been kind of quiet. I'll keep on waiting patiently. It's a shame, too, as I've never really gotten into this game, but only recently did the momentum carry and I started playing this game every day until the glitch.
Same annoying problem here... it happened to me twice. At a certain point, all my achievements disappear when I close and restart the app. The second time the glitch happened, I didn't even close it on purpose, the app just crashed. The money and the items I bought are still there, though. I don't know why, but the gamecenter doesn't seem to be affected in my case... my achievements are still visible there, even though the game itself is reset to zero (as I said, except for the coins and the items I've bought). I won't give it another try until that problem is fixed... btw, I don't have the monopoly app.
