So has the update been submitted or is it being tweaked?

 

Any chance you will add icloud save in a update so progress can be synced between devices?

 

So after losing everything after the iOS 5 update I've played through the missions a few times, bought all the equipment again, and achieved all the achievements once more (thankfully 'Germaphobe' didn't cause anywhere near as many problems this time). Excellent.

But last night the game suddenly stopped working. Not sure why as there had been no apps added or updated. The loading screen appears, the in-game music starts while the loading screen is still on, and then the game kicks back to the 'phone's home screen.

Anyone any ideas? I REALLY don't want to have to reinstall the game and start again - in fact I'm pretty sure I wouldn't. Maybe best to hope the next update cures the problem?

 

Could we get a hint at what update 2 (and maybe 3) adds?

(I suppose that update 2 and 3 are being approved as we speak and could be released any day now?)

 

Not 100% sure if this is even possible, but I was hoping that with the introduction of iCloud that the next Jetpack Joyride update could sync completely between devices. It syncs coins and purchases through OpenFeint, but it would be fantastic if it could sync missions and achievements too.

 

This in on our TODO list, for sure!

In the mean time, I just hit a big green button.

 

Btw, update seems to be out in german app-store

 

Update in US store, guess its time to get back into it.

 

Out in the Canadian Appstore as well.

 

EDIT: They're back! I don't know how Muscat did it, but the coins are all back after updating!

EDIT2: What does the Counterfeit Machine do, exactly? Does it make golden coins all bronze? Does that make the double coins prize from the Final Spin useless?

I guess it would only make sense if you add costumes for all your games now. Also just occurred to me honest Phil needs a body to complete the set ;P you know u want to phil lol

 

It doubles the total coins you get in a game, but only after you die... im thinking about buying this iAP too

 

Thanks, buying it now to support the devs (and because of the FREAKING EXPENSIVE yet FREAKING AWESOME costumes and jetpacks in the new update ).

 

Thats the same reason im buying it, that robot suit combined with the reactor could look great

 

I got the robot suit. It's really cool, but I've got a ways to go before I can buy one of those new jetpacks. -__-

 

I lost everything in the update. I updated it, saw I had 20000 coins, looked thriught the upgrades, and played a few games. When I checked back into the shop, I had nothing. All my vehicle upgrades are gone, my jetpacks, coins, and clothes.

Edit:

Nevermind. Apparently, all my progress is synced to openfeint. I had logged out of openfeint because I was on the same account on my dads iPad and didnt want to keep overriding it. Is there a way to sign out without losing my data?

 

Just bought all the new items, and still have 125k coins left
