The gameplay where you have to get as far as possible is the same, but there is loads more features than monster dash. Still, monster dash is one of my old favourites
Help please A couple days ago, I was playing Jetpack Joyride, almost had enough to buy the Fruit Jetpack (had everything else that I could buy with the in-game coins) and I left the game for a couple hours to do some stuff. I come back to play it later and all I have are my badges, my level, my achievements, and my counterfeit machine. All my costumes, jetpacks, vehicle upgrades, and coins are gone. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Same thing happened to me pre-update. Send a PM to Muscat and say how much money you lost. (Muscat's not here currently but he said that someone's checking his PMs for him, and I'm pretty sure they'd know how to help you.)
Curious Many folks seem to have the Profit Bird high on their list of favorites. I am curious about why and what am I missing. I seem to get very little out of that cute bird --- a few bounces and then a crash. Is this guy more than a joke?
The Profit Bird is still my favorite, and I took to it quickly because I was able to get long distances with it right out of the gate, unlike, say, the CFT which took me a few tries until I got the general mechanics of it down. Same with the other vehicles, Mr. Cuddles included. Now I find the Hog the hardest to get good runs with, but crazily enough, I have my longest run of any of the vehicles with the Hog. Those parallel zappers you see with the Hog are just tough to avoid jumping into.
Could you give me some specific advice about _how__ to control the bird. I'm just not getting it -- short little hops, no height, always run into a low obstacle really quickly. So what am I missing? TIA for advice.

Sorry for re-asking the same question. Has anyone else tried to unlock a mission and been refused for not having enough coins when you clearly do have many more than enough? I seem to be totally unable to change gravity 30 times in a run and I want to get past that mission, it's driving me nuts! I PMed Muscat for help but haven't heard back. Stuckedness is a woeful pain.
Have you tried...multiple taps? Seriously, though: just tap the hell out of that screen when you get the powerup, taptaptaptaptaptap, quick as you can, and you should be able to accomplish the mission pretty easily. No "Mission Unlock" purchase necessary!
Thanks Happy W. I will tap until my finger falls off. And it will be all your fault if I succeed or if I lose my finger. Note: Muscat just PMed me and said this will be fixed in the next update. So, either way.....
